Also, another version of my elf, Noelli. I did it with someone else, a friend, so it was funny to do it !   ( but also more difficult because you can often disagree about many things lol )

 

We wanted her to be asian, like my friend. but we laughed, because the result is really bad !   ( she also has weird tastes with the makeup )

Really ? You love his nose ? Lol ! thank you ! The nose on Joruth's face is exactly mine created in the game.    

 

I needed a black nose on my first character, and since I wasn't really confident with the CC the first time, I simply took a shot of my own nose on my phone and did everything so it can look exactly the same, shape and size, etc, in the game. To be honest, I wanted Joruth to look like me, but after seeing the bad result, I changed everything on his face, exept the nose, the only thing that I succeeded. 

 

Haha, I try to reproduce my face too, its scare me!

Perhaps a day, we  will have a scanner  who will do the job for us.

No so bad!  except the make-up, it looks good

but perhaps in  game it looks more weird?

But this hairstyle is not easy to harmonise, the face who must fit with it, seems to be a more harsh work.

Wish I could get mods like these to work on mine I can't even get the mod manager to work on my system so I'm at a standstill before I can even start. I tried downloadinmg it it just dosen't want to download and run on my system so have to make do with the basic options that come with the game. One of the main reasons why I hope Boiware do a better job with ME Andromeda.

Well, it is a lovely nose And I completely understand the trouble of the CC. I find real people to be incredibly hard to make! Joruth would look great with long hair but seriously, how are you always making the difficult haircut work?!! I tried sooo many times to use that haircut (as well as the one you used for Noelli) and I never succeeded! I'm jealous >.>

Speaking of Noelli, I like your version better even though the asian one is really cute! Except for the make-up I'm sorry, I don't share your friend's tastes!

@Mickymax69 : Honestly, that would be awesome ! Playing a badass commander shepard with my own face thanks to a scanner, I say yes ! Thanks otherwise for Noelli version 1. And I totally agree, this hairstyle is definitely not easy to harmonise. ( and not really good ) I had to change many things in order to do so.

For the hairstyle about Noelli, infortunately, it's sometime okay, but there are also many times where it looks incredibly bad with some camera angles in cutescenes.   

 

Since it keeps bothering me, I changed the hairstyle, can't keep it ! 

 

Now, the new and definitive Noelli 3.0 ! Now, I'm okay.

Finally happy with my last girl. I ended up going back to my original plan of editing my first elf Aditu rather make anew.

 

She's the character that made me fall in love with playing an elf, which for someone who has always had trouble playing a race other human, is no mean feat.

Slightly off-topic, i've been using (fumbling) cinematic tools for a few weeks and everythings been hunky-dory, no probs. Yesterday when I was taking shots of Aditu it suddenly decided it was done, didn't want to play anymore. DOF refused to work correctly and if i'm lucky, it will go for longer than a five minutes before crashing the game to desktop. Normally i'd assume maybe the PC wasn't up to the task but i'm sitting on a 980ti and a 4770k cpu and while gpu temps crank up to 77/78 while using it. everything seems to be fine.

 

I'm stumped, I know i'm just a novice using it but i'm really kinda missing it, so iff anyone has an idea what could be going on i'd be eternally grateful.

Sometimes the tools or ReShade go all wonky and I have to reboot the computer entirely before they'll work properly again. You could also try resetting your graphics card to factory defaults and manually re-fixing the settings, or reinstalling your driver as a last resort.

 

Dunno if it's related as it didn't used to do this, but now unless I run both the game and the tools in administrator mode (starting each one manually by right clicking ->run in admin mode, it won't work if I just click the ticky box that says to start in admin mode and then double click the icon like normal) then the game will hang or crash, end of story.

Ooh, Floki elf, I can see that! Thanks for the links, but I play on PS4, so no trips to the beauty parlour for Thomas  . It looks so much fun though, especially the cinematic tools. I don't think I'd ever get round to actually playing the game.

 

Your Qunari looks really great. I haven't managed to make one that I'm happy with yet.

 

This is Pylu Lavellan, DW rogue. I shipped her over from PS3 to take on Trespasser. She romanced Solas, so...yeah. She wore no make up and had longer hair through the main campaign, but shaved her head and wore eyeliner for Trespasser.

Ahh, I do have both set to run in admin but I don't click to run in admin when booting. I'll give it a go along with a driver re-install. Thank you.

 

Update.

 

Success! Or at least so far. After doing as you suggested and clicking to run both in admin mode, I was able to fiddle around with DOF and fog again without crashing. No idea what black magic voodoo was going on there, but cross fingers it doesn't come back, I may have developed an addiction and it needed feeding. Again, Thank you.

Okay, I wanted to materialize a minor character from Jaeghar's background, important however at one point in his youth. It's thanks to her, that he will become " Ser Jaeghar " ( as said in the codex ) at 18 years, a few months after Jaheira : After defeating this character in a memorable, terrible and powerful fight, full of rage and hatred. A duel that should have never happened !

 

Discover, Ilda Hulgaard, former fereldan mercenary in the Free marches, a very tall woman, captain of the the Trevelyan 's guards, the most loyal soldier of lord Randyll, - the man who saved her life -, his most skilled and dangerous fighter after the master of arms of both Jaeghar and Jaheira. Feared and respected by everyone, she is equipped with a huge sword that fits her big and powerful hands.

 

Like Jaheira, her design strictly followed the writting. Who is she ? Certainly not a princess ! 

 

 

Ilda Hulgaard. There are few likely to want to confront this woman who has little sympathy and little love for people, only concerned about her precious honor, even if that may lead her to irrationally killing someone, because she has such a fatal susceptibility. That being said, no one would be crazy enough to insult Ilda Hulgaard as well. Unless they no longer want to live. You can't even joke about her, just don't. It's not an advice, it's a warning. Ilda only respects courage and prowess in battle, those who have balls, strong men and strong women ! She is as tough and violent as rugged, with a strength almost abominable. For this fiercely fereldan woman loyal to Lord Randyll, each tournament or training fight is almost a battle to death. And a training with her often lead you to see a few of your bones broken. Or worse, it could lead you to become crippled, a doom that has already affected several of her comrades in the past. She has finally little compassion for the weak, for people who whine, for those who could not resist her more than a few seconds in a fight, crying like spoiled children when they are hurt ! Nobody wants to train with her anyway ! Who would do that ?

 

Remember what I said about how Jaeghar couldn't participate to the mission with Jaheira, when their templar cousin was abducted by bandits on the road, because his mother discouraged his father ? Too dangerous for him ? Well, it didn't go well. Jaeghar humiliated and bitter, stopped talking to lady Armanne for weeks ( and she ignored what she considered a behavior of a child ), and he will do something absolutely crazy to prove to the world that he is a skilled and brave warrior who fears no one, that he is a man who should deserve respect. He will try to fight the captain Ilda Hulgaard, to fulfill his ambitions. Madness !

But knowing, that she will never fight the son of her master and lord, he has a plan to p*ss her off. The young man, presumptuous, devised a plan that would lead her to want to kick his ass. Jaeghar seduced the captain and spent a night with her while she was twice his age, soon after making the rumor spread that they had slept together while lda asked him to remain silent, which brought down the giant in a real rage and madness. Jaeghar's plan to p*ss her off, however, worked way too much, humiliated, she literally lost her mind and wanted to kill him, not just kicking his ass as he though. He underestimated how much she cared about her honor. Early in the drive jousting on horseback proposed by Jaeghar to deal with the matter with a duel, as they rode toward each other with spears tournament, Hulgaard instead of aiming the chest of her opponent, struck with all her might toward the head of the young man - fortunately equipped with a helmet - who definitely uttered the most terrible and most painful cry ever heard in the castle while he was brutally falling from his horse on the ground.

 

Bloodied, people frightened screaming and raising around the poor wounded little lord, new deep scars etched on his face that would never leave, while bleeding, Jaeghar immediately realized that the woman had really the intent to kill him. Far from indulging to terror, Jaeghar, angry but remaining cold and calm, keeping control, and seeing there the opportunity to actually be able to test his ability to survive the most terrible enemies with talents in a real fight to death; ordered his father's men around their mad captain threatened by their swords to step back and to give them both real weapons. And so the angry woman does not hesitate one moment, the cheeky young man , laughing, harangued her even more with the most haughty disdain possible and gave her all the foul language as nobody ever ventured to do with her. 

 

Full and complete success, Ilda lost her mind, full of rage, and fighted him with everything she could, more than what he he dreamed !
