Now now! What's wrong with models? We craft these puppets to please our eyes during the course of our gaming experience do we not?
Indeed I love making kick as s female inquisitors especially elfy ones. (as Sera would say)

I don't think it's about beauty.
What I found interesting in CC, is when temper meets anatomy, or further morphopsychology.
Some of us succeeded it more or less.
Progressing in the story with Daniel, my angry Inquisistor.
Great character, Chlorite ![]()

My Inquisitor Lady Andra Trevelyan (she definitely hates the irony of her name), a.k.a the angry redhead. She is a Knight Enchanter and her friends and Cullen love her even though she's a jerk.
I'm almost finishing her playthrough, an Inquisitor Lavellan is in my future plans.

maybe not but I have to admit I'm drawn moer towards beautiful lookinjg ones. Just solved my issues with not getting mods for DAI working so hopefully I can make some nicer looking ones now as I've been p;laying around with that most of the day.
I'm playing a fourth time through, partly because I've still never played as a warrior.
She came out a bit like Elizabeth Olsen, which was not intentional.

(Mind the subtitles: I'm trying to re-expose myself to French, which I took in middle and high school but haven't actually touched for eight years. Playing with French audio and subtitles seemed a good way to do it)

I hope that you felt not judged personally. ![]()
I play DAI without mods too, I don't feel (still) the need for that.
It will not prevent me to repeat the same errors when creating a new character
.
Because of my own preferences, this brings me to the same faces, less or more; Or doesn't look like I wanted : very little harmony or don't like the expression. I need to break that scheme.
the most beautiful faces I have realised, were made when I had a very precise idea of what I wanted.
Accepting the fact we aren't all models,
if there's an opportunity to make a kickass beauty inquisitor, why not?
Beauty (because of stereotypes) helps to accept our own work, It's more " eye-candy", it makes things easer, but, it will not be necessarily appealing (full of charm).
So if you succeed in mixing beauty and charm, it's all right.
The more beautiful characters I have seen are the ones with harmony more than pure beauty.

As long as it fits your IQ's narrative and your DAI playthrough canon that's fine by me. IMO the 30 yr old male Trev. probably isn't walking around looking like a True Blood replicant... but I also realize that a majority of the complexion options lean that way.

yeah it was moer the fact that the DAI options were pretty limiting given they'er mostly different versions of bald but she's quite a sweet looking Inquisitor now that I've got a nice longer haired option on her but then I think as you say everyone has their own interpretation on what's attractive though.
This is the one I'm using

Yeah I've not played as a warrior yet on Inquisition either was planning to on my next run as I was planning a female mage warden, a male warrior Hawke and a female elven warrior Inquisitor she is cute though a lot like mine except for that mine's got lighter skin.
ive been kinda lazy, not feeling like uploading and saving photos from my ps4 buuuut i got some shots when i was romancing Dorian again with my archer inquisitor Volu. He was with Bull but while in that relationship he found himself leaning on Dorian a lot...now theyre together.
I changed this guy a lot on this play through. Soooo many trips to the black emporium... oh, and a minor error with his eye shadow. its white, should be black, but when i was going through different looks i forgot to change it.
imo, i would love him to have longer hair. reason why i am gonna rebuy on the PC to use mods....

also, ive never played where im in a romance and attempt to romance someone else, so that was interesting.

I had some inkies i'd seen in this thread in mind when I was designing, so it's possible that yours was one of the inspirations? Haha.
But yeah, I'm mostly a rogue when it comes to fantasy games, so I have two complete rogue runs, a third partial, only one mage, and now this warrior. It feels so slow and heavy in comparison, and I'm not sure how I feel about that. *shrug*

If you wish to play the veracity card then I'd like to remind you that no Qunari - or dwarves for that matter - would be have been present at the Conclave; and yet we find a number of those grey cows and stumpies about. As a matter of fact even dalish elves are a stretch. Observers maybe? But then again this wasn't Halamshiral, where a substantial number of elven servants, suspected to be an organized underground force, were invited at the peace talks in an effort to bolster them Empress' position. So in truth there were no reasons to have any of them nosing around the Divine's chambers at the Temple of Sacred Ashes.
In short, I make these characters so they look like the kind of guys I enjoy fracking in RL - they please me and that's all that matters.

I've done 1 rogue so far through Inquisition all my others have been mages so far. I did enjoy playing as a rogue though picking locks and using stealth to catch the bad guys by surprise was great funplaying a DW tempest rogue. Will probably do more eventually but I think I owe it to myself and the game to play at least 1 warrior on it to see how well I do.

Mage Trev. and bodyguard Adaar both had solid narrative reasons for being at the conclave. Aside from that my main point was just how seldom I see weathered/seasoned looking male Trevs. not whether they had a better reason to be there than the other protaganist races.

I'm a sucker for archery, myself. But yeah, the lockpicking thing was nice not to have to rely on someone else for. My guess is the best thing about being a warrior is you're least likely to die. Cassandra tended to be my last survivor in tough fights... now it's my turn.

I liked how all the PCs had different reasons for being there, though mageTrevelyan's reasons were my fave (vested interest following pro-mage DAII run). On that note, I think the reason I, personally, made a not-weathered male Trevelyan was that 1) the game suggests that you're a younger sibling (not necessarily young, i guess, but implied) and something about total rogue Trevelyan, all pampered and having everything easy his whole life completely appeals to me. my rogue headed after cass and was rather confused she didn't instantly fall for him.
but then, i headcanon (fanfic) that a handful of my ocs survived the conclave. it's more challenging to write that way fun that way.
anyhow, rogue in question: Robert Trevelyan:

so now that everyone else is on to fallout4 (or so it seems) I'm still obsessed with DAI and finally decided to mod my Inquisitor for my next run. It's, um, another run with my fanfic lead, Kate Trevelyan (version 3.0, cough, cough) my main.
But I love this toon sooo much and the mods are sooooooo awesome. Just... yeah.

mods used:
Female Complexions WIP by Ascendia (Calpurnia smooth + extra freckles)
Assorted Hairstyles by horography (gender-swapped Garret Hawke’s hair)
SK Hair Re-texture by Skaramoosh (smooth version)

I am SO impressed by you modders, btw. Just, what you make is amazing.

Yeah that's one of the main reasons why I love playing mages as you can attack at range especially if you're playing as a rift mage which I'm trying to unlock atm. Unfortunately the Venatori aren't dropping those damn tomes that I need in my current playthrough so it's making things difficult. I've got them before and I know where to go to get them. They've just not been dropping them yet I've got 1 but I still need 2 more.
hmm... that gif is a bit grainy. here's an actual pic:

I was prepared to spend the next 100 hours of my life in the Wasteland, but I was so disappointed with Fallout 4 that I'm back to DA:I ![]()
And your Kate is really pretty. Love the hair.

Yeah I've got Fallout 4 but I was 0in the middle of a DAI run anyway so was going to finish that first. Besides I don't think I'd stay away too long as Ilove playing Biowares's games too much anyway and I have another playthrough in mind that I want to do.

yeah there's a lot of nice ones there I admit I'[ve only really looked at the hairstyles buit still as it's only really them that I wantto change as everything else looks nice.
Agreed. Nice to see a Trev. that doesn't look like a male model.
I would like to state, for the record, that I have nothing against male models and or beautiful Inquisitors
. I understand what you mean though in that it is very difficult to create a rugged looking character. The complexions are either youthful or *really* old. I love characters that look as if they've lived, have a story to tell. There are plenty of those here.
I have more pics of Nada. It's over now. Sad times. We spent many hours together, filling the Golden Nug...I mean...saving Thedas
.
