@Alasea Thank you so much! ![]()
@badboy64 Thank you so much!
Preset? I use the first anytime. Face slider is the fourth. ![]()
Anyone have a good tip for making female (or even male) elves? I'm going to play one on my next playthrough but I'm pretty mediocre at making characters who aren't human males ![]()

The best thing to do is go with what you find attractive after all your the one that'll have to stare at them for hours. I find the best thing personally the best thing to do is not play around with the settings to much in the CC because I find the moer I try to tweak them the uglier they become.I also findhaving a face in mind for your character before going into the CC helps and basically try to copy that as close as possible. Basically start simple and just tweak what you feel needs tweaking.

Female elves for some reason are harder to make. Cause their face is very small and sometimes it looks too "boney" or skinny but if you try to make a larger chin/cheeks then they become ugly..
Lately remade my Lavellan because I decided that the first one was not very good looking.
It took a lot of tweaking everytime back and forth to the BE before I made one that I can say I'm satisfied with - and she's not perfect either, sometimes you see some perfect ones which I have no clue how the people could have made because when I try to replicate them the face/cheeks are never like that - so I suspect a lot of people use heavily modified screenshots or special light effects that hide every weird line or bump on the face or I can't explain how it looks so smooth and godly perfect.. (i'm talking about a few Lavellans on the Female Elf Inquisitor thread).
Anyway I just try to look at my face and replicate the basic anatomic face features, like: there needs to be a space as big as 1 eye between the other 2 eyes; the distance between brows and the end of the nose is the same as the distance between end of the nose and end of the chin; the chin area should be long enough to contain at least one extra mouth and with some space left (but with Lavellans this doesn't happen D: I'm forced to make a small chin or they look ugly but then it always looks like the mouth is too close to the end of the chin.. and I can't move it up cause then it's too close to the nose.. etc
) It's really hard D:
This was the best I could manage, sure there could be improvements but I'm quite satisfied with her ![]()

That's a really cute Lavellan actually nicely done

Depends on what you're going for, really. I can only really tell you what I did. My canon Inquisitor's face is based on my very first Warden, a city elf. The result is pretty different, given the engines are so different and the elves were revamped, but having an image as a guide helped me. I made her eyes a tad smaller and more narrow, and her jaw and cheek bones a bit more defined so that she would look more mature. I took my time with my Lavellan, leaving CAS from time to time to come back with fresh eyes. Took me about 4 hours total over 2 attempts, lol. I'm pleased with the results and I wouldn't change her at all. I play Inquisition on PS4 and so use no mods.

After I read in the forum that you will have different conversations with Solas if you play an elven mage, I created a new char to find out.
It is so funny if you romance him and in Trespasser you choose the angry response
She is furious and he gives you a pissed off look for a second XD
I can't bring myself to click that but when I see vids of it, it makes me laugh ![]()
@ almasy87 : That problem with klicking the "angry" answers is also my problem. I would like to do it but then I decide to go less harsh and choose a different option...
But I started to save very often and replay all options and go with the one I like best. ![]()
With my very first char (a qunari women) I romanced Bull and there you once have the possibility to choose the answer where she asks, if what he said was an "proposal". The actual line she then speaks is something like "To bad we couldn't get married before all this" and Bull looks very confused (in the Qun there is no marriage). Then the inquisitor starts laughing and sais "Just look at your face, georgeous!" (Translation is probably completely wrong, as I don't play in english language)
I think I haven't seen someone klick that option in the videos I watched. But it is a very funny situation ![]()
@ Krypplingz : Do you play on PC? Here the companions are still around... Just standing there when you go to "the end". They don't follow you anymore... So maybe they knew what awaits you? All assistants?!? Have you been betraied all the time????? Oh NOOOOOO! ![]()
Mages for a change.

You can see, i like knife ears with dark skin and hair. I made two with light hide and mop but they look kinda....wimpy, i'm not 100% satisfied with them. Anyway those two ends my male elf's series without mods. For now i don't have any other ideas for them to look good (at least to me) and not similiar.
Lilith
Believe it or not,She is a shepherd.
Spoiler
She's gorgeous! If she was Flemeth in all DA games, I'd romance her. At least she has the horns for it!
Here's my first Inquisitor that reached end game (Rage - level 27 going through Trespasser right now but I already have an Elven Archer created waiting for the green to go)
@ Kyartah Yup I'm on pc. Trespasser end fight spoilers.
My bald inquisitor. He is based on my facial features ( or the closest I could ), I've added a scar and changed the color of the eyes since it isn't possible to have black eyes and black eyebrows in this game. ![]()
Some pics of the gameplay. Maybe a few from the cutescenes another day.

Though I like the black emporium atmosphere better, because there in the darkness, you'd think my bald inquisitor has black eyes lol.
