Yeah I've not done any Qunari or Dwarves yet all my quizzies so far have been human or elf 3 and 3 I think as I've had 3 elves and 3 humans.

May I introduce: This is my very beloved Inquisitor Terhi Cadash.
She is very much hard shell - soft core. She is not very sensitive, emotions and feelings of her companions and people around her often don't get to her. But she has got a big warm heart and would do everything for the good of all thedosians.
Her past life as a smuggler never meant much to her. She had simply walked in her family's footsteps although she enjoyed the travelling. She had never thought of becoming someone in charge, but when they asked her she was like: "Ehm. Sure. Why not?" As if she hadn't led them before... so why not make it official. She can deal responsibility.
"Lady" Cadash never went to school. She learned a lot from her familiy and her curious mind had brought her a lot of mixed knowledge. She has also got very good instincts.
Terhi likes to throw herself into dangerous but assessable situations. She enjoys a good fight and spends her evenings at the tavern. Where she had laid her eyes on the big, blue Qunari from the first day they met.

Agreed. You can have great characters without mods too. What I like is the additionnal flavours and variety that they add, which would understandably not been approached in the vanilla game.

He reminded me in some way of Alistair (templar, knight, loyal), thus letting me categorize him in the bro category. No, I'm not. But I really love this name. I am sorry, I know the names of my inquisitors do not fit the lore. But look at my dwarven lady. Isn't she a Terhi? I think she is. 
And now I have my Lady Lavellan to introduce.
She is great. Her name is Gwendolyn. And if you look at the inquisitor beeing a shining light for Thedas, the name really suits her.
Gwendolyn grew up with no mother and four brothers. She really was a whirlwind when she was a child and loved to play with the boys of her clan, because they were wild and untamed and didn't fear the keeper's punishments when they had again demolished something around the camp. When she grew older, she found she enjoyed to study and learn simply about everything from Ancient Elvhen to modern Orlesian pottery art. And while the other girls made beautiful dresses and painted their faces, she became quiet and often forgot time and duty, lost in her books and notes. She found out about her magic when one day she unintentionally lighted a torch only by her wish for light, so she could finish her book before the night. And she didn't even tell anyone. Because she was so well-read already, she had instantly understood, what had happened. One of her brothers told the Keeper, and so Gwedolyn became the First, although she had never wanted such responsibility.
Gwendolyn is not quite good with other people. She often doesn't know how to behave and what to say. But she knows what's right. And she followed her heart from the time, she had accidently slipped into the whole inquisition thing. She is very insecure and depending on her advisors on the social part, because often her whole theoretical knowledge won't help her through actual situations.
She still prefers the company of men, because she feels insecure towards women. Although she is a talented and well trained mage, she doesn't like to fight and would rather find peaceful solutions for conflicts.
Of course she fell in love with the mysterious well-read apostate. How could she not? He was her first and only love.
I hope, you enjoy her as much as I do.

Last but not least I will introduce you to my Exquisitor Thedalynn Trevelyan.
Thedalynn is a real princess. As the youngest and only daughter of Bann Trevelyan, she would always get all her spoiled, manipulative soul wanted. She is very used to being in charge, she likes to be looked up to and is pretty egocentric.
Thedalynn is not very smart, but as her father's daughter, she had always been ambitious enough to take in whatever lessons she was given. Although she is quite shallow, she doesn't have a cool heart. It is just not very big. 
Because of her origin she is quite seasoned in terms of social behaviour or ceremonial occasions. Only she doesn't always have a reliable moral compass. When she is insecure about a decision, she shifts it on one of her advisors or companions and covers the fact with community spirit or something.
She had soon cast an eye on her military advisor, Commander Cullen. Partly because she had always dreamt of a strong, good looking and honourable lover, and partly because she likes to see him fall for her. (Did I mention she is quite a ******?)
As their relatiionship endures, she increasingly relies on her lover's advices. As part of the "high society" she has got to know many forms of addictions and can deal with his, as long as he leaves it behind as fast as possible. So she can cover it up and continue to be the shining, beautiful exquisite Inquisitor, with her shining, beautiful and flawless lover.
Although I don't think I would get along with her in RL, I really enjoyed to play her (wow, all her bad decisions....).

You have heard of mods haven't you? Please tell me you have as that's what most if not all of them are. if your playing on the PC version you can download them and install them on yours

Here are some clothing ones and search for Hair if you want different hairstyles. You wlil need to download a mod manager to get them to work though which can be found here

Some work OK some don't but you will need to play around and experiment to find what works best for you.
I do sometimes struggle to get them to work on games but I think I'm getting the hang of getting them to work on DAI now

Yep she's a noble she knows she's pretty and isn't afraid to take advantage of it to get what she wants. She wears standard combat gear when she's out in the field with her team but when around Haven she's been flaunting her looks. This is one spell Cullen's templar training won't be able to resist she hopes. Although having said that she's a rogue not a mage.
