For those of you who are interested in such things/have a blog/website/&c, someone on Tumblr made a snazzy template for a static HTML webpage to show off Inquisitors. You could also (like I eventually will) modify it to fit Hawkes and Wardens, too, and perhaps even make World State Pages, or Canon Character pages, based on the template.

The struggle is real and I enjoy making male elves. Most males elves I see have that overly young look. My very first whirl through the CC, I made a dude Lavellan and he looked like a teenager. It terrified me so I deleted him promptly. Second time, I managed to make a face that was more mature and definitely not the face of a teenager. I felt free to make him any age I wanted between late twenties and late thirties. He is my canon Inquisitor and known around here for his fake moustache. I'm also not going to pass this chance to post more pictures of him.

I use his face as a general guideline for making my dude elves. I find you really need to be careful with the jaw.

I know the feeling to an extent. I've been able to create and complete other play throughs, but I still find myself going back to replay my lady elves for Solas. I currently have three, and have recreated the two I had on PS4 on my PC so I go play them again.

Best mature elf, my problem is the complexion, the stubble one makes him too old yet, being one elf with stubble sounds too good, i want a warrior elf who looks badass dishing out punishment, every race has this but the elf, the concept art dalish elf for origins looked freakin cool , can not get near the look

With the new expansions, and my return to the game, I decided to give my fiesty, dalish heroinne a facelift.

 

 

She's two years older now, and her hair has really grown long.

Yeah, complexion is the other I watch out for, I really noticed it more with my lady elves though. PC has a bunch of modded complexions that make it easier, but hard to work with what they have on consoles.

I love how using a different angle with flycam, can uncover facial expressions that are normally obscured by let's say, shoulders or the POV. Most precious of all is the pause function. Like, some expressions only last a fraction of a second so you have to be quick to catch them.

I've been farming Snoufleurs in EdL, hoping they'll drop fade touched mats. I really want 1% Heal on Hit for my Necromancer going into Trespasser. I'm sure he can manage without, but even so, this item has never dropped for me and I want it. After about 500 pieces of Snoff one finally dropped (hurrah), but it was the Horn of Valor variety (boo). On the other hand, 3 Great Bears spawned one after the other and one dropped a sigil. Swings and roundabouts.

Tobias's run hasn't been a great one for fade touched mats. Only one Hidden Blades! 85 million of various types that give extra focus, when the team aren't using focus abilities at all. That is the way of the RNG and I bow to its wisdom.

me too but then I'm playing one in my next run of DAI so I'll be correcting that one soon. I prefer human sand elves but I'm kinda looking forward to playing an intimdating badass Qunari mage

I've gone for a more refined yet a leader type of  look, think he looks better without stubble, will endgame this one, cant wait to see him in cutscenes, currently doing storm coast, loving it, gave him the brit voice
