I'm pretty big on trying hairstyles / clothing that is actually logical for use in combat. Flowing hair is something I'll only try for a few cutsceneces in Skyhold.

Same, I have long hair and it drives me crazy when I'm doing stuff, I'm always tying it back. So seeing characters with long flowing locks in the middle of a fight, I'm thinking 'isn't that getting tangled up and driving you nuts?'
I really wish BioWare would make more 'tied back but pretty' hairstyles, both in ME and DA.

Yes, doubly so with Lavellan for me. 
But I only do romances once unless there are different endings for the romance, so the first time was the last time for me. Do you do the same romance multiple times or different ones?
My other Lavellans, Adaars and Cadashes have been making their way through the other romances. So that's actually 2x IB, and 3x Blackwall, despite them not really being favorites of mine.

cutscenes in DAI could look very awkward sometimes due to outdated animations. i agree romance scenes in DAI are beautiful though. Cullen and Josie romances are my favorite visually . Also Blackwall has some nice romance scenes , here are some shots with Blackwall and Eleanor

Well I like Cullen's romance, just not as much as Solas'. Prior to the game's release I was actually set on Cullen being my favourite. And if someone would've told me back then that it was going to be Solas, I'd have laughed at their faces whilst slapping my thighs. As it stands though, Solas is not only my favourite romance in DA:I, but actually out of all three games. Even when we didn't get a "desk" scene. Would I have liked that? Yes, I would have. Because that would've added even more drama in my opinion. And I love the drama. 
But even without it, he tops my romance list.

generally different ones but it depends on the character I'm RP'ing and who I think best suits them as a partner. But then I kind of let my characters also choose what partners they're interested in sometimes as well. Although I know who my Qunari is going to hook up with and my Lara Croft style mage as well when I play them. Not too sure about my dwarf yet but I'll decide that when I get closer to that playthrough or during it. Likely Iron Bull but not 100% sure yet My Topal is romancing Blackwall though. But then I'm likely to be playing the game many more times than there are romances anyway because these games have such a high replayability factor for me that it just makes me want to create another character and go again. ME is the same way that's why I love Bioware's games because they all have that element about them. My Qunari will likely hook up with Josie as I've not done hers yet. My Lara will most likely join up with Cullen. Lara will be my first Travelyan to hook up with him though. As both the previous romances were with Lavellans.
I generally don't do the same romance 2 playthrough's running though the only exceptoin being if th character I've created tends to lean thast way a second time. Dosen't happen often but it has happened on occasiion in ME

About romances - I tried all and if Dorian would be available for woman --- well I just love his character, his wit and sarcasm. Even his narcissistic behavior ( which I think is mostly to let no one get too close himself ) is adorable.
But I also did favor always Zevran over Alistair or Leliana - so its probably personal taste.

yeah I agree I'd have probably done Dorian's by now if he was open to a female romance as he is quite charming and funnybut seeing as he isn't. I'll wait till I end up creating a character that suits him and do it then.

Bull's is good if your looking for a more comedic style romance as that one has a lot of funny scenes in it especially the one when your advisors come running into the room. I've done his befoer although not for a while that was one of the reasons why I was thinking I may do him again with my dwarf when I play her. Cullen's is a sweet one there's a kind of awkwardness about it that is just hard not to love. It's a bit like Alistair's in DAO really. Blackwall's romance is good but it's not on the same level of the others imo There's a bit of awkwardness about it in the begining due to him trying to hide who he truly is I think but after that it goes pretty quiet but then I've not quite finished the story yet so there ma ybe 1 or 2 more surprises I'm unaware of but I'm almost there with Topal as I've just finished Descent. I still need to close any remaining rifts I haven't done yet I only have to pick up my dragon and kill Cory in the main story and then wrap the game up with Trespasser. But that's all I've got left in Topal's story now. Going to miss playing with her when I am finished but it was great fun
And we made it to the Temple of Mythal. Mind you, I'm in the process of writing a brief fanfiction describing my Inquisitor. Total head-canon stuff that's been twirling around in my brain for ages now. So when I reached this particular part of the playthrough, everything took on so much more a profound meaning. I was nearly crying, ugh!

I did every romance so far. They are all well written - the one which caught me less was with Josephine - it is too much Disney Princess stuff for my taste - but still cute made.

yeah they've done a great job with the various different hairstyles and all that. I've found quite a few I like that I've downloaded. I'm not going to be using any onmy qunari playthrough but that's more down to I've not played a qunari yet so want to look at the options that the game has first before deciding if I want to change things. But my Lara Croft style playthrough will have a few mods. I suspect my dwarf one might as well.
