Male & female Inquisitor.
PS4, so no mods, sadly. My male Inquisitor could use a haircut. I think something about his face is off as well but I can’t figure out what. I'd appreciate suggestions.

I'm doing Dorian's romance atm with Greed and really like it
I haven't done Cullen's, Sera's and Blackwall's romance yet (neither Bull's, but idk if I'll ever do that one
), so I can't say which is my fav romance, but Dorian is defenitely one I'd do again
so cute.
Bull's is the only one I've done and I loved it, but maybe you need the right type of IQ to get the best out of it. I had a feisty sarcastic female dwarf.
For her it was all about fun in the beginning, but then they both fell for each other and there was a deep respect and love there.....in my mind anyway. He offers a relationship where you can just be you, not the IQ. Coupled with Cole's remarks (that I saw on YT, I hadn't recruited him) it made probably the best romance I've done so far.
I wonder if Bull's romance suffers from ppl sleeping with him then dumping him, and thinking that it's basically just sex. If you commit to it though, it's much more than that.

I'd widen the jaw, lower the cheekbones and lower the eyes a little. May help. ![]()

Thanks. Did that and changed the eyebrow style. I think he looks better now (?)
Still, the haircut…

I will say I do like your elf don't think she needs any changes bu the male one yes I agree with @ArcadiaGrey

The eyebrows are way better, and the face looks more balanced to me. You could also narrow the cheekbones and shorten the nose, but then you'd lose the elfy look wouldn't you?
The hair....oh goodness me, he's been attacked with a lawn mower. ![]()
It's just the thrill of combat, he's so intense when killing bad guys his hair flies all over the place. ![]()

You're right, I won't change the nose and cheekbones because that's sort of the look I was going for. But widening the jaw was a really good idea. I didn't try that because I wanted him to look rather androgynous but it really balances everything out.
Don't get me started on haircuts... In don't like long hair on my characters and I'm also not into the bald look or military style for this one. But the short hair options are plain awful..

I haven't completed my playthrough with Bull as the LI for a number of reasons. First of all, I wanted to romance him as a female Qunari but I got put off by their small heads. It's so vexxing to look at them from behind. Granted, it's easier now that we have some hair mods which nullify that effect somewhat. But then there's still the matter of their voice. I find the american female voice so dull, I struggle to play with that. However, the British voice just doesn't suit them at all, in my opinion. And thirdly, I always feel a bit dirty when doing the romance scenes with Bull. So awkward!
Did have a laugh with that scene where Josephine, Cassandra and Cullen drop in on them though. ![]()

Yeah that's one of my favourite scenes in that romance

I thought the US voice was dull at first, but I played my IQ as sarcastic and occasionally aggressive, and I thought she nailed most of those lines. I haven't tried for a more diplomatic character though. I don't think I could do a British dwarf, wouldn't feel right.
That scene is fabulous, I may have replayed it a few times. ![]()

I love the US voice. At first she seemed a little off but she grew on me. I even use her for my elf. The british voice is too high-pitched and girly for my liking, even though I prefer the accent.

I think it depends on what character you're going for though for me I think the British ones suit Human's and elves most while the American voices probably suit the Dwarves and Qunari more. I've not used the American voices yet on any characters although 2 of my next 3 will likely use those voices. Because 2 of my next 3 will be a Qunari and Dwarf

I tend to use mostly snarky lines anyway, but from what I've heard of her, she just doesn't cut it for me. Also having played Trespasser with the British voice whilst using the aggressive options has probably spoiled me for the US voice forever.

Bull's romance was actually the first I wanted to try with my Vashot-mage Haya, sadly his response to the first Qunari-conversation option you can use at the Storm Coast just threw me off
He was so rude to Haya, who just wanted to be polite. Okay, I understand him now better after 3-4 PTs, but Haya had never met a real Qunari before and was really annoyed at him after that. ![]()
Maybe, one day, but then probably with a male Inquisitor.

Spoiler
Yeah that's got to be one of my favourite lines in Trespasser but then Alix's voice is my favourite one to use in DAI as 5 of my 6 Inquisitor's have used that voice. The other one used the British male voice as he was a human male mage David Travelyan.

I'd also recommend Qun Bull romance, esp if you're one of the those Solasmancer types who sigh over the tragedy aspect of the romance. I actually prefer the Qun Bull version over the Loyal Bull version. I even did a Qun Adoribull version. It's fun!

I didn't know there'd be a difference so I just rp'd it. My pc was a carta dwarf rogue so I thought she'd be more loyal to the Chargers and save them, so I did. I'm glad, to have Qun Bull would've seriously pissed me off. A little too much drama, I like happy endings. ![]()
What's Adoribull?

I don't like tragedy, I prefer happy endings and fluff.
Which is why I'm happy that Haya fell for Josie ![]()
I did romance Solas, but that breakup scene after he removes the Vallaslin, is just...can that even be called a breakup?
I basically sat there like this

thinking: /That was it? That was that dramatic breakup? I expected more drama than just "I have to go." on Solas side.
/
I did like the scene you get in Trespasser if you romanced him, that was nice.
But I still prefer happy endings. ![]()
I'd never sacrifice the Chargers. ![]()
So do I
I don't like tragedy, I prefer happy endings and fluff.
I'll always take skipping off into the sunset hand in hand over crying into a pit of despair any day.
The Solasmance us gonna tear me apart isn't it?
Me too.
Maybe? I found it less dramatic then I expected. The scene in Trespasser WAS dramatic and a little sad, but IMO it felt just right.
I actually liked that. ![]()

What's Adoribull?
When Dorian and Bull hook up. I've done the happy end for Dorian and Bull, complete with Trespasser epilogue. And I've crafted tragedy for the pairing by ensuring Dorian and Bull would hook up and Bull would betray the party with Dorian in tow at the moment of betrayal. Misery for everyone!

I used to be like you. Before Solas. ![]()
Don't know if it will do for you what it did for me though. Since everyone is different and all that. But in their last scene, I really love how you can see the emotions displayed on their faces. You can actually see when he realises he must give Lavellan up and you can also really see it when Lavellan realises something is wrong. I find that a very powerful thing to behold. And don't get me started on angy!Lavellan in Trespasser! *fans self*

Oooh. I like it when companions go live their own lives if you're not romancing them.
But you cruel cruel person, breaking Dorian's heart like that. ![]()
You must've played many times to know so many variations, I'm only at 1 playthrough so far. I want to do all the things, blimey I'll be knee deep in DAI until DA4 comes out.

So it was exquisite torture then? I don't mind a good heartbreak like that, I really hope it sets up some drama in the next game and doesn't get sidelined. Is it better to be pissed with him in Trespasser then? Or maybe replay it every way and pick my favourite....
