Oh thank you ! You just need to set resolution scale to 2 or 3 here . i usually just set to 2 for screenshotting or else my game would lag as well, be careful if you want to set to 3 , it could crush your game . i would suggest your to adjust colors and position your characters first, then you can timestop the game and set resolution scale . it works for me .

 

there are some examples . first pic is when i set resolution scale to 1 and second is to 2 , you see the differences of details ? more detailed hair, longer lashed and sharp eye textures. 

 

( Ignore her eye makeup ..i was trying to get her makeup look close to Charlize Theron in Snow White and Huntsman but failed..)

 

but tbh i think your shots are much better than my shots . i saw your shots with your girl and solas , they are stunning.  I can never get colors right. 

 

I'm not sure if I am responding to the last post on this or not.  I'm taking a break from DAI and playing Skyrim again ^^ So forgive me if I am repeating information that has already been said.

I think the best way to handle scaling the resolution, is to hot sample to the highest resolution your monitor(s) can support.  I'm fortunate in that I have a multiple monitor setup that allows me to set high resolutions across many monitors.  If you are limited by your monitor/video card scaling via the tools is the way to go. My personal opinion is that in DAI I have noticed very little difference when you go higher than 4K resoltion (8MP) (UHD).  Catabuca was kind enough to post a DAI comparison a bit ago between 2K and 6K resolution.

There is also a thread floating around on this subforum on how to take better screenshots.  Anyway, I do enjoy seeing all the inquisitors.

Did try another one with different hair, eyebrows and a more Qunari -like nose.

I love them both ,  they are different type , the first one is very cute and the second one looks more like mature and sexy type

Funnily enough this is the vallaslin that I chose for my elf as it was the only one that seemed to suit her. I thought that I didn't see it that often and it looks good on your elf!

 

This is Gwenyn (it means bee in Welsh), rogue archer. She is quiet, unassuming. You would not notice her...until you feel the sting if you cross her. She misses her clan and feels out of her depth as the Inquisitor. It will be hard for her.

I've been trying for ages to get the other version to work because it often looks so wonky. The version I have on my necromancer is the "complex" version. I should get a better photo to demonstrate   but I'm away from my console at the moment.

It's really just that the shade doesn't quite match her skin, so play about with shadings. I personally always match the liner to the lip colour, and then you could just make the lips smaller if need be.

 

i would say nude color might look quite nice

Yeah was thinking something like this for a possible archer rogue myself eventually as I was thinking after my 2 mages I was thinking going with 2 rogues back to back as I was thinking after my DW dwarven rogue I'm tempted to do an archer one as I've not done an archer on DAI yet. Don't know for sure yet but won' t decide  that untill I've done my mages at least I think

Haha in this instance, it was Lord Seeker Lucius. The other angry bit has yet to happen. And it won't happen for a while since I'm procrastinating on the non-companion side-quests. But I want them done before the Temple. Or just after the Temple.

@sjsharp Rogue is one of my favorite plays in any game. It was in Origin /DA 2 the same, and second mage. Never had a knack for the heavy warrior ones.

But it is worth - the skills are as amazing as the magical ones - I love *thousand Cuts*  from the Tempest specialization or *hidden Blades* from the Assassin a lot.

 

@Chappy She is so beautiful and I agree with sjsharp here - don't stress too much
