Seems odd to me how few use actual hazel or brown eyes.  Seems everything is green, blue (generally in unnatural hues) or even pink, purple or yellow.  Does no one like brown eyes?

True, but I guess people tend to think brown is a boring colour. I went for (or at least tried) sort of light olive green with brown inner circle. I tried to capture the colours my own eyes have. It's pretty close match but the green is a tad bit off.

 

So where are you uploading these pictures so that you get them to show here? I tried flickr but that doesn't work and now that I have finally been able to save my game after cc and before a crash I want to share my quizzy with you

I use gyazo. Basically I take a screenshot of a screenshot. It uploads it automatically on the website and opens up a tab, so you can share it few seconds after taking the screenshot from your screen. It's perhaps not the best way, but most likely the fastest.

ive been trying to figure out why i cant seem to make a char that doesnt look 12-13, then i decided to make a human. Yikes elves look so young

Elves do look young, but that's a consistent in-universe thing. Just add an extra 5 years to whatever age an elf looks to be.

 

Also, for anyone who's uploading their screenshots from PS4, use a USB stick rather than uploading to twitter/facebook. They compress the screenshots a ton in the upload process. Same for video.

Meet the lovely Emily Trevelyan....  A break from typically playing a male character through the first time around, whether it's been the other Dragon Age or Mass Effect games.

 

Currently envisioning her to be an intellectual, kind-hearted, Spirit/Ice mage.  Haven't gotten nearly as much play time as I'd hoped, but that should change going into the weekend.  Must say, so far DAI is impressive!

Pure brown is obnoxiously hard if not impossible to achieve in the colour wheel, from my experience. I couldn't get any brown tones to pop until I added some green:

 

I tried really hard for a nice deep warm brown on another character and just couldn't get it to work :<

Really? That's odd. I was able to get perfect browns in the make-up so I didn't think the eye colour sliders would be different. Combine an orange brown with a deep brown and it should pop just fine?

I just finished the prologue with her, but the tattoo looks pink in game (i can't seem to have a white ink tattoo), i'll probably try to begin again with another tattoo color. Otherwise I'm happy with her face, it's more or less what i had planned ^__^

Fun thread, great to see some good ideas. I have made all kinds of characters except dwarves. Here is a human mage I will probably move forward with.
