I tried one re shade mod once and was like        - it was far to dark and I really didn't like it. I think I let this for you profi's to do and fiddle with, will just enjoy the nice shots it provides.

This first Halamshiral shot ! - wonderful. The lightning is perfect and the atmosphere did draw me in immediate.

Yeah my city elf went through the same thing watching her husband to be get killed and then having to build an army to fight the darkspawn. She was glad to see the AD go down last night though.Finally I've earned some respect for my people she was thinking. Still needs to take care of thing's in Ameranthine but that's her next challenge.

She's not in any way conventionally pretty, and she's been through mill more than once - but I think she's got character, and ultimately that's what counts...

 

I've definitely fallen very strongly back in love with Dragon Age, and DA:I for sure, in spite of the rather bumpy introduction that we had to each other back in 2014...!

Alright guys, as some of you saw by accident i made my male Inquisitor looking a lot like "Ben Affleck". So today i desided i wanted to play Dragon Age  Inquisition again.

 

However wanted to do a female playthrough this time.. And long story short i tryed to make my character look like "Avril Lavigne" the Songwriter and singer.

And i think she turn out not bad at all, however i wonder how you guys felt i did? hense why i uploaded picture here today

 

Anyways here she is guys:

 

(I took a real life picture of "Avril Lavigne" beside my inquisitor so you can compare them somewhat)

(And yeah i made her eyebrows darker on purpose, i was thinking could been make-up hehe)

 

 

 

After read comments i realized i didn't take the picture of my Inquisitor at the best place (meaning prologue) however i took another picture also from prologue but i find it had better quality or light and such.. However i will take more pictures of her ingame when i get a chance to play her (real life sort of busy at the moment)

 

I had to find a picture with somewhat same angle as my Inquisitor, so because of the light of "Avril Lavigne" real life picture her eyes look different color then they are.

(Also note angles aren't perfect on both pictures)

Anyways here is another picture of my attempt to create "Avril Lavigne" hope you like:

Prologue is not really a good place to get the idea how your character look in game exactly

 

I would suggest you to load one of your saves and create her in BE then see how does she look in game maybe in skyhold or some places but just not in prologue.

 

I think her nose is about right and lip as well. Hard to say about face shape and eyes just in one pic. I would say make her eyes just abit bigger but i suspect eyes in this shot has something to do with her expression and angle as well.  

 

But from this shot , i think she would look even closer to Avril if you just lower her jawline abit. TBH one face shape could look varied depends on different angles and sometimes face shape could look quite long no matter which face shape you pick in CC. It took me dozen times in BE and out to get face shape of my Lea Seydoux lookalike correct , well for all my lookalike characters actually

I have many abandoned Inquisitors that either don't even make it past the prologue or are abandoned right afterwards, when seen in different lighting.

Well most of mine seem OK or at least I'm happy enough to play with them until I get to the BE.

I don't have the patience for that since if I want to use the BE, I need to take out all my mods or it doesn't work. I know some mods do work with it but it takes too long to disable the culprits as opposed to just cut and paste the mods in my mods folder somewhere else for the time being. So I usually just start over. Unless I'm like really far in of course.

Both angles of inquisitor and lighting arent really flatter inquisitor's face (or face shape) in the prologue, neither do their facial expressions. and if you use freecam via cheatengine or cinematic tools , characters sometimes look disproportion during prologue, that scene with Cass infront of chantry prison for example.   

 

Its really tricky to get face shape and nose shape right in DAI. eyes , that depends, sometimes you could find perfect match for eyes .  But nose is really tough because of how nostrils look in DAI. for some reasons , almost every nose shapes in DAI ( except for the fourth one , or fifith ? dont remember the number , that nose shape in the middle in the cc is perfect) have flared nostrils. those nostrils look more like a full moon to me TOT... when i tried to get my charlize theron lookalike . i got everything as close as i could with the cc except for nostrils and face shape .Face shapes are really tricky as they could look very different depend on angles , lighting,  etc. and face shape may look different in game as in CC jawline especially. it happened to me way too many times

Nah, I just take em all out. Way faster than ferreting out which are the offending mods. I have a "Current merge" folder to plop them in if I need to.

Yeah i guess you are right it's not best place to take the screenshot i will take it different places in the game witch should be better

I don't tend to spend hours in the CC like some have reportedly done. I do occasionally go back to the BE but that's more to change hairstyles every now and then not really for too much heavy duty stuff.  Because I never changed Topal at all in the game the only time I changed her was going into Trespasser. She pretty much kept the same look all the way through the game.

yep - this is the same for me. I barely use the BE- because you have to swap out the modded patch to get things changed in most of times. But Trish never got through BE - nor the others ( like Sayice or Ivandra ) Only Trespasser made it rather difficult but found always a way around.

Looks like you used jowls - I would take that to the left down corner, so the face is a bit rounder. Also not sure if the lips should be a tad thinner - because of the squeezed pic But she is already beautiful !

i think from this shot , her features are close. in DAI , even you could get every features close to the person you based on . they might still look different. if I just look at your quzzie's pic alone , i wont think of Avril ( still a beautiful quzzie netherless  ) , but you put them next to each other. then yeah they do share resembles

 

My own opinions though. i would say give her bigger eyes  and maybe lower her nostrils just abit .  

 

Anyway , you did a great job for the lookalike and for creating a beautiful lady.
