After spending a lot of time in the creation tool, I finally made a Mage Inquisitor that I really enjoyed the look of.

Meet Cael Trevelyan, a mage of nobility and a slight hint of sarcasm!

is any skins complexion without skin stains in the forehead? ...that bother me so much lol
anyway I always use the default face, if I start changing things he always ends like a sad puppy
Yep. There are two or three complexions that don't have the dark coloring on the forehead for qunari. Personally, I think those complexions only look good with non-horned qunari. Any qunari who have horns looks weird with smooth, flawless skin and then, bang, all of sudden, there are giant horns protruding. I think it just looks more natural to have a little difference in skin coloration before the horns. But that's just me.

Finally been able to play again! Bit more prettiness

Ugh...yeah. When I was creating my qunari, the lack of skin stains looks horrible with horns. It looked unnatural. The skin stains with the horns are much better.
@Dwarf fans
hey, no worries. I'm planning a dwarf character myself soon. An archer, probably. After all, how could I not with such an awesome character like Harding around, making me want to create a dwarf. ![]()
If I weren't sold on female PCs, I'd actually roll with that. Looks handsome in a definitely masculine way. Plus, dark skin-tones look pretty on elves!
Thank you! Totally agreed about dark skin on elves, though I usually play dark-skinned characters even when the game actively fights me on it.
That face had a lot of odd angles and I became dissatisfied with it pretty quickly, but I came up with this a couple of attempts later and am still happy with it, though I have yet to play him in earnest. Actually, I have another cap of him I like a lot, might as well post that.

Aaaaaaand some more Taerel. I regret nothing (especially not the last two). Stop being so pretty, you're ruining me. I really want to do some art of him but I fear I won't be able to do him justice *got waaaay too attached* Stupid game, making me care about a bunch of fancy looking pixels
oh MYYY ;D
Oh, and I also tried my hand at a Qunari....and boy, is it hard to make something out of them. They feel so undone. Especially next to Cassandra and Leliana with their pretty, custom face textures....And don't get me started about the hair....or lack there of.
Spoiler
She's gorgeous! Sliders by any chance?
Introducing Maxwell! (I was going to call him something else, but I pressed the wrong button and accidentally accepted the default name as his.)

Ok...I created my dwarf archer character. Meet Astrid Cadash, the snarky and rough carta dwarfette...

Except...now that I've created a kick-ass female dwarf with a bad-girl past and a slightly more selfish streak............I'm even more sad that Verric isn't a romance option. I'm not sure who I'll romance Astrid with. I was thinking maybe Sera...but...I'm enticed to try a dalish elf with Sera, since Sera is so anti-elfy. ![]()
I think Astrid will be the one who makes the choices my other characters won't. She chose the mountain pass in the beginning, and she'll probably recruit the templars. I just can't with my mage characters, cause it goes against their characters that I'm building. ![]()
Alright, so I wanted to try a mage and decided I'd base him off of Sam Witwer. I haven't gone any further than the intro, and I'm not entirely confident I did the best job. Thoughts?
This is the picture I was primarily using for reference.
Human rouge. I wonder how different it is to play a Qunari (F) Mage over my Elf Mage, is it all that different?
Not sure. I'm playing a male qunari mage, so it'll be interesting to see if Iron Bull makes any comments, considering the lore behind mages and the Qun.

Seems like my only recourse would be to actually play a Qunari - my elf sided with the mages, so maybe I'll make her be a mage and side with the templars!
Here's my qunari mage. She's my primary inquisitor. Personally, my first playthrough always feels like the most real, authentic one.

Ready and waiting is my elven rogue, for my second playthrough. It'll be interesting to see how the game works out with the different choices she'll make.

I owe you one "like". He's awesome. He looks like an old-timey strongman or bare-knuckle boxer. Swoon.
Exactly!! I was wondering if it's wrong to be attracted to your own character
If that's wrong, I don't want to be right. I pretty much only make badass ladies and sexy-ass guys.
Well...I attempted a good looking qunari female. And I'm actually rather pleased with how she came out. (though let me tell you, that was the most editing I've manually done in the CC so far...)

Its a toss up between her and Astrid. Who will become my main female and LI to Sera? Probably Astrid. I'd like 1 character per race.
