Isn't this thread a perfect example that drm does harm to companies at same time that it might prevent piracy? Protection drm which isn't really drm made by company with quite bad reputation for a good reason (SecuROM fiasco) which has gotten many consumers worried, me incuded, about this product and other products that use DRM's. Is this denuvo now a form of drm that does no harm? How much time and money it takes to impliment it to a game? Companies clearly don't trust their customers but we should trust them?

I have to state again that I give my money more likely and happily to companies which realize that drm allmost every case punishes the paying customers and will not have DRM nonsense in they products.

This thread will soon be closed like the rest of them. How dare we post our concerns, those clearly are not wanted here. Denuvo does no harm - period. DRM's are good for gaming industry - period.

This thread is a perfect example of that people like to cry and speculate. I have no problems with lof, and hardly doubt that this drm does anything to performance. You all are speaking about punishing the customer. In which way exactly? You have no idea that it will.

So you haven't heard the numerous issues and problems which people have told in posts, threads, comments... ? How can it be good for business to impliment DRM's which can cause crashes, performance issues, corrup operating systems, cause disconnections, ingame issues... List os long and terrible. That has gotten many customers me included to avoid DRM products. Gaming industry cannot afford that in my point of view or at minimum it hurts them when people won't buy their pruducts.

Now the question is how good is denuvo? What problems will it cause if any? How about origin, how good is it? Iknow that Steam uses so mild drm that you can barely call it drm. Until I know for sure that denuvo isn't harmful I most likely will pass on DAI.

Even EA has stated that DRM is failed, dead-end strategy but still they use it.

Valve has given out a statement that pirates are underserved customers and piratism is non issue.

Witcher dev has stated than DRM is worst thing in gaming industry.

There was just few examples so it isn't just my oppinion.

If you want more prove where people are worried about drm here is quite long tread on steam about it concerning DAI

I realize that piratism is also hurting gaming industry but in my oppinion drm is not the way to fix it.

It is not a DRM. all it is meant to do is stop people from cheating in multiplayer. that is all.

Those problems come from bad pc port (or whatever that is) duh. Mind me, i'm not pro drm, i think its stupid as hell to fight pirates, cos most of them wont buy ur **** anyway. I just dont think that denuvo is such a big deal.

This isn't DRM to prevent Piracy per say, more to maintain the integrity of the multiplayer game by preventing simple hacking of the game's EXEs. It may probably block Trainers and memory hacks as well.

From all reports, the games runs like a dream on the PC, across a variety of hardware. So these fears seem totally unfounded.
