Xbox one vs. xbox 360 - will anything but graphics be compromised? Particularly interested in scale of battles.

Anybody see any reviews, screens, or footage out there denoting the differences in content that we can expect from the 360 version vs. the xbox one version? I think I am sold on buying it for the 360 as long as all that is compromised in gameplay is the graphics and not the scale of the battles. I am particularly interested in making sure that the scale of the fights won't be smaller due to the 360 not being able to process the amount of npc's on screen at a given time.
Essentially, this will be my biggest concern between whether I end up buying it now or waiting until I can afford a next console. The DAO port for the xbox was horrible and left me feeling cheated when I finally got to play the PC version. Please let me know!
People have been complaining because there is no last gen footage or reviews at all. No one knows really.

As far as I know, they haven't shown older-gen gameplay. I have the same issue as well, though I think the graphics might be a bit bad on the 360 since Inquisition has better/newer graphics than DA2 had.

The only thing I know is that there are less idle background NPCs. Enemies, and any npcs with background chatter or dialogue are unaffected.

I don't know if this will help but it is known that the PC will be the best for DA:I. Then the PS4, Xbox One, PS3, and then the Xbox 360. Now I am speaking about graphics and the only reason why I think the PS3 version will be better than the Xbox 360 is because it is on one disk rather than two.

The only thing anyone knows is the graphics will be inferior and you'll probably be lucky to get 20-25fps.
Are you sure about the fps?
I mean, 20-25 is unplayable. Literally.
I seriously doubt that. My guess is 30 fps, 720p and graphics corresponding to low-medium PC settings.
This game is supposed to be able to run at 8800 GT - last-gen consoles can do better than that.

Going off what they said. They said, "we HOPE to get 30fps on last gen." Meaning they're really not sure if they will at all.

It will be locked at 30 frames. They said they weren't sacrificing gameplay and framerate has a huge effect on gameplay. Do you seriously think they would be fine with people getting 20-25 frames? Like someone said, that would be almost unplayable and the amount of pissed off people would be enormous. It will certainly be 30 frames locked.
They are achieving this by scaling back background NPCs, dialing back the on screen effects and other such things. So it wont look as shiny as on current gen, but it will play EXACTLY the same. That much was confirmed.

In what world is 25 fps "unplayable"?
But yeah, better expect that. Cameron Lee said in one of the streams that they're "aiming" for 30 fps, which is PR speak for "The game will definitely not run at 30 fps".

When they say "Aiming for 30fps" it could equally mean they're scaling back graphics to hit that mark, which if you saw everything else they said, seems to be the case. They said it would run the same across all consoles, just that current gen would look better. Frame rate is not really graphical as much as it has to do with gameplay. At the very least, it should be on par with Dragon Age 2's fps, if not better.
And 25 fps isn't unplayable, but its not as smooth gameplay wise.

This is a video of the CC and the first cut scene on a Xbox 360. He has called this part one so he will probably be posting more footage soon.
Remember this is the CC and first cutscene so there are spoilers for that. If you don't want to see the cutscene stop watching as soon as he names his character.

The game looks very pretty on old-gen.
You will see less non-plot relevant NPCs in towns and villages, though.Since old tech can't handle it.

Since that video doesn't show anything regarding the PS3 or 360, I'm not sure what it's supposed to prove....
