Well going by taking the mages and prisoners/conscripts leliana notes how could Cass go along with it I think this is a case of in the moment Cassandra was not really thinking it through in the templars  case and at that moment she approved. Hell she notes in her first conversation that she rushes decisions hastily and regrets the choice later I think this is one such case.

 

I wonder how the approval will go if instead you disband them and get them to join the inquisition. 

 

Cassandra will greatly approve if you talk to her in haven after recruiting the templars.

Wardens went to Corypheus willingly to stop the Blights, they weren't controlled except for increased Calling. They were lied to, but the choice was theirs.

Hawke isn't captured by anyone. You have to make the choice between him and Stroud, when party escapes the Fade. A willing sacrifice to cover the escape.

You have a choice to conscript the remaining wardens or banish them from Orlais.

Hawke goes to Weisshaupt to inform the wardens leadership about their brethren's fate.

I didn't finished the game yet, but I just saw one of the ending and it seems like the uploader of that video rush through main-quest, and still the Inquisitor get a happy ending. 

There are other ending regarding to Dorian romance. I'll let the video speak for itself here, but don't worry the Inquisitor and his/her LI get a happy ending.

So how does the Divine choice work?

Well, from what I gathered, it mostly depends on your choices throughout the game:

Vivienne - if you want things stay the same as they were, Cassandra - if you want Chantry's reformation, and Leliana - if you want complete revisitation of Andrastian society. Something like that, with Vivienne on conservative, Leliana on radical end and Cassandra in between.

 

Do note, that it's not yet confirmed information. Besides that, your personal influence might affect potential Divine in accepting or rejecting the position (I hope so, for the sake of Cassandra's and Leliana-mancers).

Leliana will disbanding the Circle of Magi and allow the Mages to govern themselves. She also open the priesthood to other races, and declare support for the Inquisition and rededicates the Chantry to the principle of charity, but many will resisting her reforms and declaring her rule a threat to the faith. Leliana will response to these resistance with extreme and deadly measure to maintain the unity.

 

Basically she may be the most progressive Divine of all three candidates, and she's definitely the best for the Mages, but she is ruthless when it comes to dealing with the threat.

No idea what that she would do for mages and the like, though. Vivienne being the conservative option was a given, despite the novelty of a mage in the Chantry. To be honest. I wouldn't mind if Cass didn't disband the Circle of Magi but instead reform it, giving the Mages better education, more freedom and less restriction while controlling the Templar (if the order was rebuilt) from abusing their power. I'm not sure if the Mages are ready to govern themselves, and I'm not sure if they'll abuse their power on normal people once they are independence. I'm not going to lie, but I don't even consider about choosing Vivienne for the new Divine at all.

I'm with you there. I can see Leliana and Cass being good choices, but not Vivienne. If it were a conservative like Wynne, maybe, but Viv seems much less empathetic about those not as privileged as she. As it is, I doubt even my conservative and/or pro-templar characters will choose her, either on grounds of her personality/personal agenda or on grounds of not wanting to give a mage that power.

Okay, so we don't actually choose the next divine. You can support the candidates in dialogue, but no one seems to know what exactly determines the outcome.

My character romanced Blackwall and had a pretty happy ending.

Varric, Cassandra, and Vivienne chose to stay off an on between their book/seeker/enchanter responsibilities and being friends with/companions to the Inquisitor. Other than Solas, all of my other companions chose to stay and live with the Inquisitor in Skyhold because they were family. Blackwall chose to stay by her side and fight with her together forever because she was one of the rare things that made life worth living.
