Oh, no no I'm not messing with you. I'm making fun of the developers and how they implement things into these games that end up ripping our souls in half. I enjoy the pain.
Good to know; for a moment I was worried you knew something I didn't. ![]()

Man oh man.
So which one will you support for your first playthrough? Mages or Templars?
Mages, but... not at the expense of everything. There has to be some sort of compromise, because what the Templars were doing ultimately wasn't going to work but Mages do need to be able to reliably police themselves so that they don't abuse their power.

If I did, I would tell you everything. ::pinky swears:: ![]()

If you did, please don't. With all the let's plays, I need something to still surprise me. ![]()

Well now I have to file new paperwork for a revised pinky swear. But it's a deal.
Nice. I like the art style of this and the Keep. Apparently there's nothing like this leading into the game itself, which I think is a major mistake on BW's part as lots of people are going to be lost if they aren't given the option to watch some kind of "Previously, in Dragon Age" cinematic. Especially since some significant back story for DA:I takes place in books.

Yeah, I've heard a lot of complaints like that, but I think if people are going to get into this series, it's worthwhile to play its Origins.
See what I did there? ![]()
It's a business. And assuming that the game is good and enjoyable to the experienced players here, the fewer people who are turned off to it due to being confused or ignorant of the plot the better. An intro cinematic seems like a fairly cheap investment when weighed against the good will of the new DA player and potential word of mouth advertizing they might provide.
Putting all of the onus on the customer tends to not work out well. If you were to ask anyone at BioWare if the expectation is that a player should have played DAO, DA2, and read Asunder/Masked Empire, there's not a single person that would say yes. That's just not good business.
The most interesting part about the video is the ending scene which is the start up screen for Inquisition
.
So the leader of the mages where at the summit. Does that mean Fiona is dead?

That's usually what happens when they say everyone died, except you. Your survival pissed a lot of people off, no doubt.

Spoilery~
But in all seriousness, I'm sure it did more than upset people; someone is going to be suspicious...
