Tough choice. If I could have a top 3, I'd pick:
1) Reaper
2) Asari
3) Batarian (killing humans never felt so good)

Turian they aren't too brutal yet not passivists like asuri. They are intelligent enough to fight with skill unlike the Krogan who just go in and hit and shoot. Turians are a good muscle to flex for the cause in thier own rite and use what they have quite well. What is so wrong about (liking to) playing a race you relate too like "human"? though I guess we all play Shepherd. In Dragon Age I play a dwarf or a human, I don't relate to elves. In Star Trek would be a Klingon equiv, Turians and Dwarves I guess. In Dr. Who I would -not- be a timelord, I'd be an idiot who ate cheatos and complained about the climate in my home and why my collector's ed computer games didn't come with enough stuff like bigger ankhs and stupid stuff, and then became the biggest buttkick in the world when I found purpose.(lol)
