So i was wondering, if i buy the disk version at bestbuy for deluxe edition, can i just redeem the code i get on origin and just dl the game on origin? I dont want to have to use the disc every time i want to play the game. Only reason i want to buy at bestbuy is because i get 20 percent off.
Physical version redeem on origin?

Yes, you've to register the pc version on Origin, anyway.

I'm pretty sure that's exactly what I did with ME3, so if that's any indication then you should be able to just register the key and download the game.

It's actually pretty dumb. If it does use Denuvo than there is really no need to use origin

To be clear, Denuvo is not DRM in the sense the DRM stands for Digital Rights Management (or Dogs Reading Magazines, or whatever you prefer). There is nothing in the Denuvo stuff that has to do with accounts or release date checking, or ownership or anything like that. It is not SecuROM. It is not Steamworks. It is not Safedisc, or any of the other DRM solutions that have been in the past. Origin is the DRM for Dragon Age: Inquisition in the exact same manner and settings as it was in Mass Effect 3. Nothing has changed here.
Denuvo is anti-tamper on the executable. This has nothing to do with mods or attempts to change textures or anything like that. Trying to hack the executable to cheat in multiplayer? This is what we are talking about.

You'll probably want to install from the disc anyway, so you won't have to wait for the download. But whether you download or install from the disc, you won't need the disc to actually play. It is pretty much the standard now with PC games.

Note: You cannot do this until after you have the physical copy. So you can't preload and play at 9pm PST. If, in the future, you lose the disks you are covered and can DL it directly from Origins.
