If you're so adamant on needing/wanting a way tweak your character after character creator, you obviously aren't playing it as an rpg. Hence why you create your character at the beginning.. to make it yours and unique for the whole game..
When Inquisition comes out, I advise you try and take 45 minutes to an hour making your character.. Make sure the choices are really what you want.
Bioware has said that they will be working on a way to have you customise your character in game, but they didn't have it ready for the release of Inquisition so that is the reason it has been left out.
Just be careful when creating your Inquisitor for the release of the game and hopefully an in-game customiser will be added soon.
In Skyrim, Oblivion, Fallout 3 and Fallout NV you can access the character creator for free using console commands.
...and break the game in the process if you do it wrong 
My first Warden was a city elf and I got to redcliffe before his appearance bugged me so much I had to start over. He looked like Teller from Penn and Teller lol.
Remember, the Black Emporium was a DLC feature itself (though free if you bought the game at retail iirc). It was an add-on they came up with later. I am sure they will have something out soon or modders will stick something in there. People say this game won't be very moddable but the modders find a way.
Calling it now; the final battle of the game will be with the Elder One trash talking you for your facial features and you having to resist his very hurtful comments.
