Ok another quick update i just spoke with yet another EA customer support  Person as reading some posts here game me some doubts so heres areare some of the questions i asked..

 

 

you: will the game be avilable at local retailers?

Shyam: Yes.

 

you: so the game has been taken down only from the online origin store ? am i right to presume this?

Shyam: Yes.

 

you: so that means if i get the key from retailers or from other online stores i will be able to play it?
Shyam: The retailer that is authorized to sell the EA product.
Shyam: So, please contact via Origin as well as third party retailer.
you: so if i buy the copy will i be able to activate it? just anted to confirm
you: wanted*

So to sum it up basically The game has been taken down only from the online store/

And it should be available at local retailers. Or you can get the key from any third party websites.like gamersgate G2A etc.. and u will be able to activate it.He also mention origin so the VPN method should also work basically use a VPN to fetch the international version then you close the VPN and log back in normally and you should have the game.. They will not remove the game since its not the indian version...and since you did not buy it from India..

So that basically means,it ll be available with retailers,cd keys will work,ps4 and xbox versions are still available,but you cant just buy it from origin india!!!!,what kind of fucked up ban is this??? seriously.!!  

This reinforces my suspicion that it has something to do the the distributor issues Ea has been having with milestone,so we might see dragon age inquisition in Indian origin store in time it is solved.

Has anyone purchased the key from G2A and received the e-mail? Are you able to preload normally with/without VPN? Im saying this because on their website it says 20th Nov as the release date. Also some people are saying G2A is not legit?

 

I talked to a G2A employee. There is a chat option at the bottom of page. He said I'll receive the key on 18th. 2 days before their release date, and their version is global.

Oh and yes, since I purchased the game from Mexico store, I have already got the CD key in my Origin store. The game shows it.

You ordered it from Mexico too? I tried to but I got the 10048 error. Now I m thinking of buying it from the US. I used the credit card option. Why can some people buy it from there and others get this error?

A small Update:

Just had a chat with EA Customer Care and they confirmed that keys from Amazon physical copies and third party sellers like GMG,G2A etc will work without any issue, and also that we can redeem the keys without the use of VPN. They do not have any information regarding the support of multi player and future patches. The Dragon Age Keep data can be imported without issues.

Oh that was because I installed the OS over 2 years ago and had not bothered to use the machine regularly, back then, 64 bit was just picking up ...

That makes sense then.

EA Advisor said it's a known issue. Many people are getting this error. They said they're working on fixing it. I have this error on one account, but on another, it's not happening. If I still get the error in the evening, I'm going to buy from G2A. It seems the safest route.

Yes it is. I mean full availability on PSN & XBL, ability to buy via VPN with no repercussions and we can still buy codes for the game from retail. Plus preload is possible without VPN. This is looking more and more like a distribution or trade issue rather than some anti-gay/anti-sex bullshit. I think the dude on reddit was joking or was misinformed or just plain out messed with.

If it comes down to not working, especially with DLC's, just purchasing them and downloading the stuff off a torrent should be fine.

We are not talking about "all sorts of content" but something that it illegal according to latest SC ruling. What other games, television serials or movies have well advertised homosexual content, can you tell? And we aren't talking about PAST games like ME3 or DA2 etc..since the anti-gay law came into action somewhere at the end of last year. 

 

 

And if the govt was so serious about it ,i am pretty sure they would have found ways to take it down on Indian XBL and PSN too,you cant stop them.

 

 

No, Indian government can't shut down digital stores that are outside their jurisdiction. That is why even The Pirate Bay is online even after attempts of ban from too many countries. They just cleverly keep their serves out of the leagl reach. 

 

 

I believe its something to do with their problems with local distributor Milestone interactive,they have been having issues for last one year,Even fifa 15 had some issues of availability.

 

 

That only explains the absence of physical copies, which DA:I was never going to have, for PC at least. But the removal of DIGITAL version means there is another reason.
