Yes, I paid in Rupees, as well. I'll miss the skyhold throne and the halaa mount, but at this point I'm just glad to be able to play it.

20th can't come soon enough.

How will you download it?  VPN method or normally?

Yup paid and got the key right away. Still use Hola and change it to US.

Is Hola necessary? Can't i just normally download it from my Indian origin account after activating my key?

Wiki pages can be edited, so go ahead and fill that with reliable info. But wait, you don't have that. I don't owe you any more explanation here than what is already available for the world to see. If you think my info isn't correct, the onus to prove me wrong is on YOU. Else, stop your bullshit and get back on topic.

One final time - There is no video games rating board in India..Stop arguing it on now...

Now back to topic...

Were there any more charges?? or was the exact amount deducted?

The exact amount was 2800 something. I don't remember. A little less than 3000. They charged like a dollar and half for payment fees.

I don't know anything about that. Let me get my key first. But you don't need Hola to use G2A.

But that EA agent said you don't need Hola to activate 3rd party key?

Which region you will choose US or Korea?

I could not contain myself and placed an order at Amazon US for a physical copy of DAI (and Fantasy Life). That looked like the surest method to me. By then folks would have tinkered enough with this game to see how does one go about activating it. With priority shipping, it'll come by 20-21. :)  Man this game, then Fantasy Life, then Pokemon AR/OS, so less time and so many games

There are many websites other than Origin that are selling Dragon Age: Inquisition, you can see a list of some of them on PCGaming Wiki. For most of these websites you can use something like Hola to purchase the game. I bought this version mostly because they give back quite a bit back as store credit, in this case the equivalent of $12.

I activated the keys they provided on Origin without using a VPN of any kind, and at least that bit worked without problems. It is now showing up on my account (like it did when I had preordered it, and before it was cancelled).

It shows the same preload and release dates, 17th at 22:30 for preload, and 21st at 00:00 for play.

Right now I can't confirm if it will preload or play. I guess we will find out in a few days.

Ok, I bought the Digital Deluxe edition of the game from Mexico for USD 44 (INR 2777) via credit card and it correctly showed up in my Origin account.

Then I preloaded it through Korean VPN and the game has downloaded and installed properly.

Now have to wait till end of day today (Korean origin says 13 hrs) to play the game.

I think it will work without any problems, just need to use Korean VPN till 21st.

Will update in 13 hours.

Can you me tell exactly what you did? I tried doing this a bunch of times and failed every time. Is this a problem with the name and address fields? Do I have to give the info that the card is registered to? Or can I give any address and it should still work? What info did you give?

For those who are interested to set up a private (and above all, FREE) VPN server, may I request you to follow this video as a guide/tutorial:

Once you've set up your network accordingly (currently there are three locations - Romania, Canada and US), start your EA Origin client and you will see Dragon Age Inquisition appearing on your store. You may proceed on as you wish with either the Deluxe or the Standard edition. However, whether you pre-load or want to play you NEED to keep the VPN running (even after the global release date, i.e. 21-NOV)

My opinion - this way is safer and secure than using HOLA server. The only downside is you need to be on VPN for the game to play. And "probably" you will be able to buy and/or download any future patch/updates/DLCs. The multi-player will also be without a hitch - I am assuming this - as I can only be sure once the game gets officially released worldwide.

It's best to wait till 21st ..Then we can ask those who bought G2A keys and trying to download and play normally and those who are using VPN method to buy it from Origin store..Then we can decide which option is best and safe :|

Thanks EA for giving us so much trouble for no reason..Indian Console players will start playing today :(

Is this the only method to play the game ? You have to do so much effort to play a ****** video game..lol..

Yes, EA is obliged to think of your pleasure first rather than worrying about getting into legal troubles. I wonder if you were in place of EA, would have willingly chosen to get into legal hassles.

It makes PERFECT sense, as has been explained multiple times already on this board. The console versions are available because their respective store servers are not located in India. So just stop spreading misinformation and start applying logic, for a change.

I also bought it from Mex origin store

Also i did clearly remember when i spoke with the EA customer care..

When i asked him

If i can buy key from any third party retailers etc

He said

"So, please buy via Origin as well as third party retailer"

But when i asked him  how come origin when the game is not available on origin at all?

the reply i got was

"Sir please try to understand what i meant to say"

So basically u guys know what that means ;)
