As a side-note, it kind of pisses me off, that such censorship is basically possible because of DRM (Origin in this case).

I have nothing against digital distribution to be honest, and most of the time I support DRM in form of Steam/Origin/Uplay (support = it's not too obnoxious for me). I'm even of a mind that Steam is the best thing that could have happened to PC gaming.

But in good ol' days, you'd just purchase a copy abroad, and loaded it without any problems, because there'd be no internet verification to stop you from doing so.

That's why i love CD PROJECT RED..

DRM FREE - CD RED'S SLOGAN

Witcher 3 FTW

Consoles are also DRM free, buy disc from anywhere and game will work..Sell it anywhere without any issues...But on PC there are so many restriction now...It's ridiculous...

I think using a VPN will be cheaper, why leave the country when you can send just your internet on vacation ;-)

Hah. True that ;)

Amazon US only accept US credit cards...Do you know what i have to do to buy code using Indian Credit card?

Not true. I've been buying tons of stuff from Amazon US, and I only have one credit card I use - HDFC Platinum. I've seen people use Stan Chartered too. The only thing is exchange rate which is higher than it should be. Generally a rupee more per dollar.

Hi All...I also got a refund mail from G2A yesterday afternoon...bought the deluxe version from Mexico Store for around 2.7k..everything works fine...no problems yet.....

for ppl who are looking to buy from a third party site, i think Origin Mexico is a better option..safer too..

I used CC to buy as Paypal has it's own 3.99%+.30$ charges...you can avoid that as well.

That's a joke right?  Consoles have the some of the most restrictive DRM out there when it comes to digital downloads.

After going through all the comments here, Am I right to assume, the only way that you can have physical disc is buying it from Amazon, As it has been stated before, I prefer having physical copy to go with my Dragon age collection :D... So If I buy it from Amazon, I should be able to use it just like how I use a regular disc, is that right?

You'll still need to activate it n origin but otherwise yes. Also be aware shipping it from Amazon US will add shipping and import fees.

Bold portion, this is where I get confused. So I should be able to activate the game without using vpn, just like the regular EA games through Origin. At this point am literally not worried about the cost as long as I can get the disc and play and am a PC gamer.

I will be paying only the amount that is displayed in the shipping cart, right? Forgive me, have never got anything shipped via Amazon US.

So I read about this. Apparently India is banning DA:I because of an obscenity law?

I believe government dint ban it, but EA stopped it to avoid any controversy like the one happened earlier where some stupid community group dragged them to court for Dante's Inferno and also this could be due to recent anti gay laws which are being forced in full swing. Whatever I just feel like being pushed back to dark age :(

I am angry at EA but then can we really blame them ? We all know how much this community groups cause utter nuisance here.
