I wouldn't expect less from a government, who until recently thought it was okay to throw acid in a woman's face.

Beyond that not sure but safe to say games are not under cbfc yet and i doubt ever will until games get a 'super league' like promotion with celebrity endorsements and our govt babus will think "Hey another place to get bribes and make money".
I like when people oversimplify things in the absence of concrete proofs. ![]()

It is working for me as well!
Imported data from the keep without problems, start the game. Had to use a US VPN to launch though since otherwise it shows a launch date of 21st.
But it seems to be working.

That's the biggest worry at this moment. Once this is proved not to be the case (after 21st), we all can go ahead with the VPN route safely..

So far so good. Keep import success, fired up game through US VPN. Now to tweak the settings for optimal performance. Controls are a bit wonky, might take some time to get used to.

"Never been removed from Library" is altogether a different story than "able to receive future patches/updates" or "able to buy single player DLCs".
I wish I am wrong and I am being over-cautious!

I kind heard they will be releasing a patch upon release to fix some issues but guess that's not out? or has it already been updated into the game?

Free DLCs and patches will be automatically updated. As for buying a DLC, you would probably have to use a VPN.

Oh and i can confirm everything is working fine. Can import from keep and play multiplayer. Those who haven't bought it yet, buy it via VPN or friend/family (if you have) from abroad.

Yes, the situation with the DLC is the same as with the main game. They just wont be released in India, so you won't be able to purchase them here. However, you should be able to use whatever tricks you use to buy the original game to also purchase the DLC.

I am guessing you are talking about Day One Patch? It's possible that they could incorporate it automatically in the downloaded version..or the patching may start as soon as your download is completed..

I just read the review summary and final ratings. Have avoided reading any of the reviews completely..I want to remain unspoiled. And anyways, its already known to me that DA:I is great.
I even liked DA2 for its storytelling approach. DA:O was indeed a masterpiece, and Morrigan is one of the best characters ever written, and voice-acted.

i saw on some sites that says that quote "in the terms and agreement page of origin, origin can remove a game from the library if the game has not been played for 24 months" dont know if its true or not but still

So yeah, I bit the bullet myself, picked up the game from Mexican store via Hola, as simple as it gets, my Credit Card worked just fine, had already used it to buy a couple of ME3 DLCs on Origin anyways as had the card-info stored already. Down by Rs. 2781 LOL
!!!
No need for VPN yet. Downloading the game, about 16 GB left, let's see how it goes!
Anyone else feeling a bit adventurous, I'll list a some simple steps which have probably been explained earlier:
1.) Install Hola from Chrome Store. (Link: https://chrome.googl...lfbnlmeio?hl=en )
2.) Load the origin website and click on Hola(top right near address-bar) and select country as Mexico, let the page reload automatically, check if the URL reads: https://www.origin.com/es-mx/store/
3.) Browse to DA:Inquisition page and click on: "Agregar al Carrito" (Add to cart). (Link: https://www.origin.c...eluxe-edition )
4.) Then click on the cart(top right corner), and proceed to click: "Ir a caja"(To checkout). (Link: https://www.origin.c...mx/store/cart )
5.) Once the "Checkout" page loads, select your language as "English"(bottom of the page), and "TURN OFF HOLA." <- Don't change it back to any other country, just turn it off.
6.) Let the page reload, and voila! Buy the game and have fun.
7.) Hopefully it will work! ![]()

Day Zero patch as they termed it. Since the game was built keeping for all the platforms, hence there have been few buggy instances where the screen-clipping and air-floating affected the game-play severely.
Day zero patch - will be live only when the game goes global (i.e. on 21st Nov). So, it's safe to assume that we are not getting it before 22nd.
Though I may be completely off-topic, but I was wondering why they say that we can play as a Qunari-race, while we all know that it should have been "towering, horned men and women" races!
Secondly, just wanted to know - as someone has shared that (s)he can play the multiplayer too - what server is Origin latching onto (considering that Indian servers have been withdrawn by EA)? It's just a technical curiosity...

Downloading without VPN right now; the download speed was abysmal. But I will definitely use the US VPN to start the game once it loads. Have to wait until Thursday.

Ok it looks like the Mexican Origin is working for a lot of you guys (it's in English for sure right?) so that's probably the method I'll go for. I'm very concerned that if this is against Origin TOS (no idea if it is) they will remove it from my account. Whereas if I buy from 3rd party they can't remove it but I'll miss the deluxe edition...
I know, I know...probably overreacting and being too cautious.

Thing with keys is that there is no guarantee keys will work....Mexico is cheapest plus DE
Don't think they will remove the game now....
