I would think this will depend on the region from where you purchased the game, not where you are downloading it from.

Check the folder in the game install that has the text / voice content.

The files should named en.*

Even if they are not, I think it should be possible to download an English language pack or something.

True but EA don't exactly shy away from bad publicity.

Would a mobile i3 3rd gen and 7670m hd radeon run the game at low settings (720p or 768p)? i3 2 core 2 thread counts as quad core right?

Yeah I guess that theory it won't be removed is gone. The stores still are not Indian based though, they probably were able to get Microsoft and Sony to cooperate with them on this.
 
Yeah you should be able to use the US store for PSN. Though you need a US based credit card or PSN gift cards.

*Sigh* This sucks....anyway so after creating a US PSN ID,using A gift card from play Asia..can I still play it if I decided to switch back to Indian account cuz most games are on that. Or will I get a psn ban?

I've never encountered problems playing on my Indian PSN acc with games purchased from other regions and/or accounts. You might have to first launch the game from the US account first if you do run into issues launching the game. Anyway since in this case EA has pulled out of Indian store, it might misbehave...since I haven't bought it for my console I can't assure you 100% against that but it is unlikely because many people buy games from the Japanese PSN stores that never see a release outside that country.

TBH while I dislike the decision they took I do understand it. They're playing it safe and they don't want to risk anything that would drag them to court. I see this as they don't feel the profit they gain from the Indian market enough to justify any legal expenses that might crop up later. Also let's remember that if the game saw a release and was officially banned, then it would be outright illegal to import or own a copy which means EA will get even less sales. This way they will get some money cos people will go ahead and import it or use other methods to acquire the game.

Nope. More like a gay character and as precautionary measure to avoid being banned by the government. It's still weird cuz In Sims 4 the players can make same sex couples and from what I have read, it's a " life sim" so as to speak. So kinda more real than a fantasy world with fantasy characters. That's still on the origin store? What's the logic here?

Supposedly it's a combination of not just homosexual content but a more explicit homosexual content (there's more nudity than before) than has been seen in previous games or on the Sims. Anecdotal info though so take that for what you will.

Why the hell did EA pull Inquisition from India?!!! First the physical disc was not available, so I preordered it a month ago via Origin. Then today I got an email saying that the game had been withdrawn from India due to "local copyright laws" and I was being refunded! I am a long standing fan of the series and have been tracking Inquisition since 2012. To be told that I can't have it just a day before release is depressing beyond measure. What happened? Why did EA do this?

 

As far as I know, Indian Government banned the game because of gay themes, I dont think its EA's fault. I know whats the feeling is this: waiting so much for a game that you fall in love and BAM "game is not available for your region" I also get this crap on Steam too. But since Indian government is little bit restrictive about things like this (but they allowing lesbian romance, dem logic) I think they did the right thing BUT this way also block everyone in India playing the game. Cant they just censor the gay scenes?

 

Companies like BioWare are Universal-Thinkers which means romance/death/sex/war for everyone by all means in their games. While this sounds reasonable, some governments dont appreciate their kids seeing that content. Personally, I'm a guy in real life- I can watch female to female romance but not gay one.

 

This is just what I saw on google while searching web sites about gameplay, please dont take this any offensive comment since I'm not %100 sure about this, just wanted share this and my opinion.

 

NOTE: When politics matter, politicians can hide behind the laws. so I dont believe local copyright laws.

That site is highly incorrect. It has predicted as won't run a lot of the recent games which I was able to run on med-high.

Your rig is quite weak...I don't think game will run well but still try it.

i only know I read an article on IGN that said it's a gay sex scene.  but they may be wrong.
