I see no reason to kill Hawke in DAI, even if you hate him/her. The Inquisitor should be focus on the crisis at hand and making sure they have enough resources and manpower to deal with the threat.

Really?! If so, I'd say this is even more surpising. Imagine the forum if this winds up being true
Who was that masked man?

You will be able to edit hawke in DA:I so they are in and you choose how they look
No, no import. You customize him.
It's been confirmed that when you've gotten to Hawke a character creator will pop up.
Never mind I'm cursed with slow typing.~sighs abit~
Thx for info ![]()
As long as they dont make me choose which Hawke to save... If I have to choose between Hawke and Bethnay Hawke... I would most definitely let Hawke die.
Sorry Hawke but I have always wanted to romance your sister but having to play as you in DA:II, I never got the chance. So.... RIP Hawke ![]()
Well, since I don't really care about Stroud, I never liked Loghain and I never kept Alistair in the Wardens, even if it's a choice between saving one of them and saving Hawke, I'd still save Hawke. If it will be a choice between Hawke and his Warden sibling, that'll be a little trickier :/ Varric leaving or not may be the only thing that decides it for me
Also, Varric will be affected by this choice if he is friend with Hawke in World Data since....

Sounds great, so I can get rid of two characters I never liked just letting Hawke die. My prayers have been answered ... this is proof the Maker exists ![]()

Oh the Stroud/Alistair vs Hawke is new, is it true? Well, that doesn't change that I will still choose Hawke, I like him/her (can't decide between my two characters ^^; ). If I have to choose between Carver and Hawke... Not a hesitation either. And besides the fact that I like Hawke, I agree

I have one Hawke (a mage) that I really like and (quite obviously) she is full of snark. In fact hers is the only PT I finished. Trying to finish another Hawke (a rogue) right now and would be interesting if she had a tragic ending especially since she is so diplomatic. Dunno yet.
Where did this vs thing some from? My understandng was that Stroud would die no matter what and that Hawke was just a choice to save or not to save?
Mostly speculation from this scene:

Interesting, so I guess since this is the resolution to the
If Hawke was to be completely customizable, my Hawke would find herself sleeping with a good chunk of the Inquisition's inner circle by the time things were done. ![]()

I'm just tired of all the character bashing related to Hawke. He's a nice character, specially if you play him as a diplomatic and sarcastic character that cares for all his companions and his family.
Jaison, your spoiler tag is invalid. ![]()

Well I'm glad I decided to always make Alistair king. Imagine the fangirl outcry when the choice is presented.
I will most likely kill Hawke in my "kill all playthrough".
I don't think I will ill Hawke, I do, however, worry that my GW-Carver playthrough will make me choose between the two.

One user stated that the song had the description that it would play when Hawke dies which supposedly should definitely happen and not be a matter of choice.

You do us all a great service by doing all of the horrible things many other players simply can't be bothered with.
Yep. I have no problem with that. I've never done a kill all playthrough for DAO, but I have with DA2
How many can say they did this in the ME trilogy?
So I have the digital deluxe pre-ordered and installed on xbox one, anyone know how to access the soundtrack?
