I get this twice while following the 'create a class tutorial' once when editing the "2DA_base.xls" and again editing the "AL<classname>_default.xls"

Although I only get one error when editing the "2DA_base.xls" Anyone know what's going on?

That's normal for editing files with a newer version of the same program, or one that supports the file type.You should be able to ignore that.
