I think things will be quiet until Inquisition is finally released to the public at large (and even then, some might be busy playing it). I take it no one here has played the six-hour preview of Inquisition from X-Box? I've seen some clips (unfortunately, no one who has played as an elf is putting up their gameplay), and I'm a bit more optimistic about playing as a Dalish mage simply based on some of the dialogue options, like being able to express that you don't believe in the Maker, which was not available in Dragon Age II; it gives me a bit of hope that our elven cultural and religious perspective will be intact, and not railroaded to accommodate the shemlen deity and religion.

The only one I have seen that played an elf, was creating he's elf to look like a Homosexual, not that I have a prob with it though, oh btw if you want to see somone that have played as an Elven female and I am a big fan of her, try Ashe/Lady Insanity, she is a woman that played since DA:O so she know about DA games. Unlike the first reviwers we have seen in october >.>

Ashe, GamerMD, and a couple others have been following DA:I for a while now.  They actually got to talk with all the devs a while back.  Pretty sure that video's floating around on YT, somewhere...

I've been avoiding the videos as much as possible as I want to play the game completely fresh with as few preconceived biases as possible. 

 

I think I finally settled on making a human for my first playthrough, simply to set the tone, and qunari, elf and dwarf playthroughs will let me see the difference in how the races are actually treated...or not. I love the dwarven race and I'm fascinated with being Qunari and I love the elven lore...gah, I'm still trying to make up my mind. 

 

It'll be set by Tuesday though. Getting the late-night release on Monday though...unless the roads are so snowy that I can't. The nearest gamestop from where I live is 30 miles away.

Well, we are roughly 2 days and some hours away... Origin preload is already at 84% and increasing. Hard to believe it's been a 3 year wait... I can almost hear my companions speaking...

Got the download through PS Store tomorrow.  Also going on media blackout tomorrow too.  Only question is: should I stay up until midnight for the download to be available, or go to sleep and start the download tomorrow?

I received a message from Gamestop talking about late night release on Monday. Depending on the weather, I'll be there. Probably will head there early and get some celebratory dinner in honor of founding the Inquisition.

Well my media blackout has consisted of mostly the YouTube and the Story section of these forums, so I think I'm doing ok... if I discount my nearly broken finger that I got from haste scrolling everywhere else, damned Facebook.

It seems Lambert is alive... there is a track called Lord Seeker. Bit of a stretch I know, but I can't think of another reason for a track with this name to be included.

Not on this PC, no. But I'm getting a new rig with a GTX 970 on january that will pretty much run this game (and a lot of games coming in 2015) on ultra.

Well, I'll be picking up the late night release tomorrow. I have a job as a carpet cleaner and I'll be cleaning a hospital tomorrow night which is only a few miles away from the Gamestop I have it preordered at. I'll be getting off around 10 at night, so if i can't pick it up then, then I most certainly can go out to eat at a restaurant and get it after eating.

Kinda hard to predict... I think that maybe he'll mention Merrill, especially if you happen to be a Dalish Mage who, like Merrill, is a First. The only thing I do know about Varric's reaction is that if paired with a humorous Hawke he might give the Inquisitor a hard time(this is what is going to happen on my first playthrough).
