I'm not still sure who I will play first. If I begin by a female dalish mage, it will be probably Sera (because she seems to be so close to Isabella who has the most refreshing romance in DA II) or Solas but if it will be a human warrior, it will be Cassandra.

I too am torn between Sera's psychotic delightful self, and Miss Scribbles.

 

My main concern is how much of a romance investment is potentially lost via Advisers? I know we heard that it's supposedly still lengthy and such, due to always being around them at the home base and via story. Sounds well enough but what about the party banter lost? One of my favorite things about Origins/2 was hearing party members mention how cute myself and whomever I was romancing were as a couple, or how a bitter ex that was within my party was scowling more so than usual.

 

How can I enjoy dating the lovely Scribbles if I'm not hearing Varric constantly telling me how adorable she looks walking behind me with a faint hue of blush?

 

I suspect you will still have some party banter regarding your romance. It's just that your LI won't be in the party to comment.

 

My first romance will be Solas. Next will probably be Iron Bull.

Solas will be the first all the way for me! I was sweet on the guy from the beginning even when it seemed like no one wanted him. He now seems to exceed my expectations with each passing spoiler and it has only made me want romance him more. For a second play-through I'll romance either Cassandra or Dorian and a third play-through for Blackwall........maybe.... The thing with Blackwall for me is that he really does look a little too much like my dad, facial features, eye color, body type etc. From what I've seen, I like his personality but at the same time it weirds me out a bit and I'm not sure I'll be able to overcome it; I'm still on the fence with him. For any other play-throughs I'm not really sure, so I guess whoever appeals to me in the game.

 

 

As long as they can keep me away from Solas

Probably Cullen because I've been waiting 3 games to be able to, but it will be SO. HARD. to stay away from Solas.

I have a rough idea of who I want to romance based on my character.

 

1) Human f!mage - Cullen

2) Dalish f!elf - Solas

3) Human f!rogue - Blackwall

4) Qunari f!warrior- Iron Bull

 

I really like the m!inquisitor voice, so I might actually have a playthrough with him romancing my girl Cassandra, of course.

It is truly lovely to see Solas and Josephine rank very highly as love interests...

 

Take note Bioware, we want more intelligent, Spock-like men and adorable intelligent Liara-like women as love interests.

 

The tough beefcakes, the suave players, the brooding angster,  the ice queens and the delightful crazies are all nice... but intelligence is always hotter and more stimulating...

Amen, Cass is awesome. I love her indomitable drive to pursue justice. And the way she shows her annoyance, *disgusted noise*. lol

My first Inquisitor will be a female Qunari warrior who'll romance Josephine.

 

My second one will be a male Human rogue who'll romance Cassandra.

 

The rest will try other LI's

Cassandra's the one I'm most interested in but I'm trying not to lock into an LI before I play. If I start going through the game and enjoy this character more than that one I'll go where the wind takes me. First playthrough's gonna be what I think my inquisitor should do. After that I'll go into locking into decisions beforehand and see the paths I didn't before.
