Troubled:

As a PC gamer I am having considerable trouble setting my "World Tapestry," or whatever its officially called. I am wanting to utilize the last last game that I played in DAO--with all of its outcomes and decisions, as it were. For example, I played a female Mage, named Kyla, who survived killing the Arch Demon. Secondly, I also want to include the last game that I played in DA2--in which I played as a Female Rogue named Arianna. The problem is the Tapestry isn't picking them up. I know the Tapestry is still in Beta, but does anyone have any suggestions on how to circumvent these issues? Thank you.

Try loading up the saves and saving the game. I was told that works. Beyond that, read the FAQ and the sticky thread called "

How to get your Wardens into the Keep (read only AFTER the official FAQ fails)

The Tapestry will never pick up the decisions you made in the previous games or their outcomes. It just isn't designed to do that. To have your decisions reflected properly in DA:I you must always answer every question in the Tapestry manually. If there is any part of it which currently looks as if some of your decisions have been picked up then that is just a coincidence.

Yes, to clarify; I meant that's how to get your Wardens and Hawkes recognized. The "import" is just the character profile, ie appearance/race/class. Decisions are not imported and must be entered manually.

When I opened up the tapestry for DAO the Shield is broken. There is no option to choice otherwise. As for wardens it is only the generic male warden, as well. The same applies to DA2, unfortunately. Therefore, my characters appearances/race/classes/sex are also not showing up.  Even this failed to help: How to get your Wardens into the Keep (read only AFTER the official FAQ fails)  Oh well, perhaps by the end of next year Bioware will have fixed it: or, not. Thanks for your help.

Okay, I'm not sure if I'm understanding you correctly but, if I am, you need to click on each of the pictures in the tapestry (e.g. the shield, the broken heart etc). That will bring up either a question for you to answer, or a series of other pictures with questions behind them.

If you mean that you have clicked on the pictures and it doesn't bring up a question (or other pictures) then that's definitely a bug and you should report it.

This is the case, whether your Wardens are showing up or not.

Yeah, it sounds like you haven't actually gone far enough into the Keep. Try clicking the hero picture and the shield. A selection of choices come next. The tapestry is divided into sections, those sections have decisions, and those decisions have options.

The only option that I have for DAO is the Broken Shield and a male a generic male warden. All of the rest of it is there, however. Oh well, I digress. I'll just skip it and hope someday that Bioware will make it work better!?!

So all you see in the tapestry is
Spoiler
?

And it won't let you say Warden survived?

Hi Jallard, the Tapestry is organized by theme or plot. You can click on each of the tiles to make your choices from Origins and Dragon Age II. You might want to check out our Keep tutorials and how to's for more help: http://forum.bioware...torials-how-to/

If you're using a mobile device, you can swipe left or right to view more tiles.

Correct. All I see is the broken shield indicating that the Warden died.

All I get is a generic male warden and a broken shield period.

I decided to use Explorer, which I hate, and logged into the Keep. I was able to select the character that i want however, there is no way to save it.  The arrows on the left and the right only scroll through the characters. This is just way to confusing and I have very little patience. I would just like to select my hero and then select the outcome of the came game that i had played. Where, the hero lives. But the Keep does not show that Shield. Only the broken one. I'll just wait until they fix it, if they ever do. Thank you all for your help.

1. If you are in the heroes tab, that is NOT where you select your hero

2. Have you tried clicking on the broken shield?

Try also making sure that your browser is at full screen or zoomed out. You should see a "Approve this Hero" or "Approve this Choice" link to click.

To clarify.

1) Go to your tapestry

2) Click the Warden shield tile (the hero tile)

3) Click the Warden tile again to select from either your synced Wardens or Default Wardens

4) Click "Approve this hero" on the one you want. That will save your choice and take you back to the "hero" page where you can select your Warden's fate.

5) Click on the shield to select your Warden's fate. and then click "Approve this choice".

Do this for every single tile. If you're not seeing "Approve this choice", use full screen or disable any adblock/script-blocking add ons.

Number 4 doesn't work.

If you are using IE9 there is a known issue of the Keep not displaying correctly, try using Chrome

I am having this exact same issue.  I'm not sure if it's because I'm on a different computer from the one I played both DAO and DA2 on.  That computer crashed, I got a new one, and I haven't put either game on my new one.

At any rate, I'm trying to make changes to the tapestry (I downloaded the "default world state"), but I'm not getting the "Approve this choice" for all of my choices, only for some.  So, for example, it's insisting that my Warden Queen died killing the archdemon and there doesn't seem to be a way to change that.

Chrome.  I finally got it to work by tinkering with my anti-virus/anti-malware program.  I had to reload the Keep after I did this (it wasn't allowing me to make changes even after I shut off the AV/AM program until I reloaded the Keep).

Thanks anyway!
