Apologies if this has been asked before, I'm new to this particular forum section.

 

I was going back through the Keep to make sure everything checked out, and I noticed that there're slots for storing your DAI world-state to import into subsequent playthroughs of DAI. The wording of this confused me, because it almost sounds like you can import a worldstate into DAI that includes DAI plot-flags in it before you even finish the prologue. Wouldn't that completely bork game progression?

 

I understand storing DAI worldstates to share with friends, as sort of a "check this conclusion out" thing, but using them for yourself seems odd.

 

If there's something I'm missing here that's causing me to wildly misinterpret this feature, please do let me know.

I don't have any direct info, but based on what I'm reading from that page, my guess would be that it is so you can edit the worldstate you used for a particular playthrough directly from the Inquisition save in case you don't remember which worldstate you used when you started that playthrough. This way, you can easily change one or two tiles if your pre-made worldstates are wildly different.

 

Hello! You've got it. The playthrough states are created when you start a new game in Inquisition and they'll start to show up in the Keep as you play. You can copy a playthrough state back to your editable states, and then load them in the Tapestry to see what choices you've made or quickly adjust a choice and re-export that state to use on the start of a new game.
