Here in Germany, nobody got a review copy of Last gen. But that was the case with many cross gen games in the last two months. Day 1 patch isn't live either. So it's a little bit early for a final judgement about the Xbox 360-version.
Its more along the lines of how people are using those words. They didnt take anything out, per se. Did they have to water down graphics? Of course they did. Like you said, its demanding.
That doesn't change the fact that the game plays largely the same across all platforms, PC probably being the only exception unless you hook up a gamepad.
Now I do agree, the texture load in is quite bad, but this was seen in Battlefield 4 as well. The engine doesn't do that well unless you have a mid to high end PC. For a last gen game, it looks pretty freaking good. Im not blind to its technical shortcomings, just a little iffed at people who write the entire console off now that a new one is out is all x)

If that was the case, many other review sites and whatnot would have got them ordered so that they could report on the difference between current and last gen. Please, I know you only have a few brain cells left, but try to use them to full effectiveness, you're embarrassing yourself.
Now lets quit the childish internet argument for one moment, if you're able to do that, and discuss these disparities.
I never said that there wasnt a difference, and its true that the difference is more then one should expect. A lot of this I could blame on the engine as the same issues exist on Battlefield 4, especially with online MP. That being said, you tend to look past those issues after some time. Focusing on the issues only makes them seem worse then they are.
Now I said dont "focus" on them, but you shouldnt ignore them. They are indeed issues and I feel as though they would have been better off not releasing the game on last gen.
That being said, the game is still leaps better then DA2, which is all you should "expect" from the next title in a series. Its enough for me to enjoy the game Im sure, as it would be for many others.
Now once again, I do agree the game performs and looks better on current gen/pc , just dont completely write off the last gen version because its not top tier or whatnot. It still seems to perform better then DA2, despite having similar issues as BF4.

A review copy is a review copy, regardless if there is an embargo, that is why there are no reviews. embargo gets lifted on US release.

I remember having a PS2 in my dorm room and random friends would be hanging out in my room playing video games when I came back from class, it wasn't even their room and my roommates were not there. I also miss connecting two Xboxes up to play LAN Halo 2 tournaments in my dorm.

Yeah, i made this thread just to show the people that are playing on last gen, including me how the game will look/play. I have no idea why people that are next gen or pc pointing out flaws and every little detail, do they have low self esteem or what? They are just bullies, anyway the game looks nice and it will be the same story and content so i'm pleased and hyped just like everybody else, it's the same ****** game.

Yeah, Dorm life indeed. If my headset works on the PS4 then I might consider playing that first. I can hopefully drown out the noise that way.

I enjoyed a majority of my college experience. 
you should figure out when the dorm isn't busy, I am willing to bet early weekend mornings will be the best time to play and just play until someone "kicks" you off. It may force you to focus more on your studies if you can't play as often as you like. So there's a blessing in disguise.

Well when you have already played the NG version, its obvious that you wouldnt want to play the 360 version. But the real question is, will last gen players, who will not play the NG version for some time, still have a good time playing DA:I? There have been games with technical issues in the past (GTA:SA, ME1, or all previous DA games for that matter) that still proved to be great and memorable games.
I had a great time playing "Journey," and it didn't have super "immersive graphics."
Some people are really picky when it comes to graphics, but I'm much more forgiving. As long as I'm having a good time, I can overlook blocky blood and shiny hair.
Thankfully, I'm an old woman whose first console was an NES, so, super "immersive graphics" aren't a top priority.

Oh thank the maker. I've been quite worried these last few weeks. What with all the doom and gloom on here, I started to fear that it would either be completely awful to downright unplayable. This is perfectly fine, I would say good even.
Does it look as good as NewGen and/or high end PCs? No of course not, I don't think anyone thought it would??
I imagine quite few people are in the same situation as me and just don't have the money to blow on a new console. This looks really good to me. So count me as relieved. I can't wait!
I just spent an hour going back and forth on a downloaded 720p video of BOTH versions of the game. Specifically, PS3 and Xbox One versions. I was comparing them directly, watch a scene on one then watch the scene on the other. Watch a fight on one and then watch on the other. Couldn't be a better comparison unless I edited them together.
And you know what? I think the last gen version is about 25% worse looking, maybe 30% if I'm being harsh. The main differences were blurrier characters models (expected of course) and flashy effects were less flashy (the breach is certainly less cool and impressive on the last gen versions) And the framerate looked the same. Now these were both from Youtube, meaning no higher than 30 FPS. Still, I didn't notice any framerate differences at all. And the PS3 version didn't show any lag or stuttering that the next gen version didn't show in its own version. So this "sub 30 FPS" that a certain ignorant person in here was spouting was false.
So the next gen elitists are full of crap. I looked as unbiasedly as a person can look, compared and contrasted, and I can promise you the difference isn't as gigantic as people are acting. Again, it's 30% if I'm being generous to next gen and 25% if I'm not. And any talk about the framerate being worse is not true. Even if the next gen versions have a higher framerate, the last gen versions definitely aren't sub-30.
Well, I saw the last part of the prologue, and other then talking more time to load textures, There We're a lot less NPCs before the cutscene. A lot.

Oh. I downloaded both a video of the last gen and next gen version and have them set so I can flip back and forth on a playlist in my media player, it's how I've been comparing. They both end a little bit past when Varric joins you for the first time after closing the first little breach. Didn't bother to watch anything else, I saw what I needed to compare.
