Some how in all the interviews i have missed this. So how do saves work in this game.

Can we quick save and quick load before battles? During Battles?

Or is there some  sort of consol-ized saved thing like every times you open the war table or fast travel game is saved?

So how does it work?

Hopefully you can't save in mid battle since that would make the game really easy, that's what it did to Divinity: Original Sin.

No one made you use the exploit,

I don't know about quick saves and all that but they said it auto saves nearly every minute outside battle or conversations, at least on current gen and PC.

Here's auto-save in action:

This guy thinks that he might as well close a rift while he's passing it.

That it's a level 12 rift with level 3 characters doesn't really trouble him (until he quickly wipes)

See how close the auto-save point is.

Might be lucky but I'm sensing the game is going to help you with 'under-levelled accidents'

Example from (34:30)

the play through is also comedy gold...

Saving works just like in previous DAs.

Some devs have said that saving works just like the previous games.

You have auto saves and you can manual save, as long as it isn't during combat or a conversation.
