Not everyone cares enough to bother getting next-gen stuff as soon as it comes out. Maybe someone wants to wait until the price drops, or the selection of games is better.

Just because someone didn't bother to buy a next-gen console doesn't mean they can't be frustrated by this.

Yes, your entitled to the quality the last gen console can realistically give you and by the looks of it BioWare have giving it to you, if you cannot come to terms with the fact it will be low quality compared to a high end pc or next generation console then sorry i really do not know what to say to you.
 
Destiny has the same hair shine i can only think it is a hardware limitation or something thats used for next gen but dont work right on last gen so well nothing can be done about it.

Call me crazy, but no, destiny did not look even close to the same level that this does. If you look at the screenshot I provided, it's not even just "the hair is really shiny". The areas where the mesh ends on the beard are quite clearly visible.

Are you being purposely obtuse? There are better looking games on the 360, right now. So don't act like shiny hair and blocky blood and bad pop-in is the case because it's on a last-gen console when I have other open world or semi-open world games for the same console that has none of those problems. You next-gen and PC owners are really quite ignorant in your assumptions about the last gen. You think it's because the console sucked, and I know it's because they didn't put full effort it. The 360 and PS3 can do better than what I'm seeing in that 360 video.

The way that it is now with the clearly visible seams glowing brightly, I wouldn't want to chalk that up as 'low performance' without some kind of comment from a dev.

Hope they allow the play disk to be installed on the 360. Might help with the loading because in the stream i saw textures generated slowly in the cutscenes. Poster mentioned not being able to install with his early copy and hopes for a day one patch to fix.

Not what I heard. I heard that the first disk forces you to install after actually starting the game, and the second disk can be optionally installed like all 360 games. You can still make it so you're playing off the harddrive.

I think that's on the low settings for PC. The 360 gameplay video I posted in my thread's first post doesn't have hair anywhere near that bad. I mean, it's still a little too shiny, but it's not the disaster you see in that pic. The blocky blood spatter is the worst part to me about the 360 version. This is the 360 version-

M8 i live of anything between £40 - £60 per week an run my own home, i started saving up when next-gen was announced, i got it a year later by sacrificing alot, you had plenty enough time to do the same, so sorry "dont have the money" dont wash with me, you had years to save up so yeah im getting real tired of ppl posting on the internet (that costs money) they dont have enough money.

 

But im not getting into a war with you, the simple truth is you could have sacrificed something, you never, so dont complain

 

I am in a different boat, I am planning on not going next gen till I am done with grad school in May.  That's my reward.  Money isn't an issue, I just don't think I deserve nice things just yet.    In fact, I am debating to wait to play this game until then or when I upgrade my PC.  But I have other things to worry about in life, like get a better paying job with my new degree, find a house with my wife.  So upgrading and sacrificing for a new console or PC right now? isn't exactly a priority, "m8"

You can be frustrated, it just falls on deaf ears. I imagine in less than a year most mainstream AAA devs will stop including last gen ports (for what it is worth ubifail announced far cry and Asscreed wont be coming out next time round on LG), its simply not feasible to keep working on hardware that old.

 

I had a friend who kept complaining about last gen graphics and them being forgotten.. he bought about a game every month (sometimes an extra indie game or something) i gave him the advice to stop buying games for a few months.. and before you know it he had saved up enough money for a PS4.. now he is playing all new games he would have bought on his old console, on a ps4.

 

I kind of laugh when i see last gen gamers complain about performance, visuals or features missing. you should be happy the game runs at all on your toaster with an HDMI port.

You can see that the spatter is just a bunch of red squares put in a pattern to look like a smear. It's immersion breaking.

I already posted previously i hoped they patched it for you but not to hold your breath as i thought it might be tech there using for next gen so possibly thats the best they could manage for last -gen, an for your information i currently still do the majority of my gaming on the 360 and am quite happily doing so'

 

I'll say it again because your "elitist" last gen brain cant seem to comprehend it, i hope they can sort it so everyone can have an enjoyable experience no matter what platform they choose

PS3 version below. Looks better than the 360 version to me, though the textures seem to take as long to load sometimes as they used to back in Mass Effect 1. Some people thought the framerate looked bad, but it appears fine to me.
