The romances scenes in DAO were ok, better once they had been modded, but the scenes in DA2 were so tame they could have been shown on a kids show...will we be getting better romance scenes in DAI...more like the Mass Effect romances?

Well judging from a *ahem* pair of Cassandra spoilers, I can safely say at least some of the romances won't be airing on any kids show any time soon.

This game has nudity, showing everything but the crotch region, so it is in a new field of sex scenes.

I didn't mind either Origins or 2's romance scenes. I think both had their own place, own tone and own variant of why they went to what degree they did. But yes I do believe as has been stated we'll get some more mature themed content.

Honestly, DA2's fade to blacks were infinitely better than… whatever the hell that was in Origins.

 

I at least hope the *scenes* are as well done as in 2, like the conversation before-and-after sections.

From what we've seen so far, they're treating things more naturally. Which is good, because I found the scenes in the older games slightly odd, which makes it jarring.

If you'd expect them to be topless IRL, then they'll probably be topless

No magically reappearing underwear.

No moments that you immediately recognize as being 'clever' camera angles.

It would be nice to see a return to Mass Effect 1 "romance" scenes. Tasteful nudity not for the sake of "oh look, nudity" but because people tend to get naked during sex. I swear, those were far better than anything I've seen in other ME or DA games. Admittedly, I didn't see all the sex scenes.

 

Just no more people in underwear grinding on each other like we're copying a trashy reality show, please.

DA2 was on par with a Disney flick. The romances in general were a little bit flat, but the scenes... yeah, just lots of nothing. I mean, I saw the same "let's lay down and bang" animation with more than one character... that's kind of terrible. Major injustice to the characters, in my opinion.

Inquisition at least has nudity, but I doubt it'll go passed immersion for the "after" scene. Which is a shame, because there's quite a bit of potential for character exploration. More than the awkward huffing in The Witcher, that's for sure. Though, that said, the spoiler image I saw did elude to characterization. I hope there's a lot of that. When you build that connection with someone, you see parts of each other no one else ever does.
