I don't think it's what you claim it is because why would she be narrating that?
My money is on Ser Pounce- A lot
Welp, those tumblr posts pretty much confirm these possibilities. Makes me worry about the fate of Mother Giselle and the Warden though. People with the early access said that romanced Leliana was pretty adamant about returning to the Wardens side when the Inquisition is over so would she balance them both if nothing bad happens to the Warden in DAI? Similar to Cassandra since she's a LI does she balance being the Divine and being with the Inquisitor? To top that off my understanding is that Vivienne is an optional party member. So what if Leliana and Cassasndra are romanced and Vivienne is never recruited?
Now it looks like those endings are of the companions/advisors so hopefully there's a more default option with someone else like Giselle. Certainly hope that this decision is more than just a convo where you just pick the right dialogue to automatically convince them. Those characters should definitely have input rather than just being picked or maybe a variable that tracks throughout the game depending on how you play.
I've noticed lots of folks complaining about these choices being implausible from an in-universe perspective, but from a player perspective, putting Witchy Minaj/Possibly Flemeth in charge of the Chantry sounds like it could lead to something pretty awesome. And I'm not even one of those "This game will suck unless I can personally burn down the Chantry and hang all the templars" people.
I would pick Viv. We need a divine that knows what's up and being a mage she has a great position to restore order...hopefully make the circles better than they were before. Because we all know the templar and mage war will probably end with the mages going back to their circles, sigh.
But the chances of any of them being the choices for the new divine is slim. My guess? It is their reactions to the new divine and those party members have specific things to say about it.

I'm afraid that the file structure does not stand up to scrutiny unless the picture has been cropped significantly and there is another column header not disclosed. In other words this is not proof just typing...and has a rather obvious missing file if you look...
But it was on Tumblr....reddit....twitter...BSN...so must be true!
I'm not saying that Viv couldn't become the Divine but I don't really see it...as those most likely to consider it (pro-mage) are likely to hate her guts in game given her views of the circle and circle life which does not fit with their all mages are downtrodden, abused and beaten philosophy.
I suspect these are the facial reactions around the new divine, since these are facefx files...
The future of the south is a more equal distribution of power and secrets.
No more grand pope preaching to the unwashed masses.
Whatever we were before, we are now the Inquisition.
Thedas will be forever changed.
We will all sing the Chant of Light.
If Cass is made Divine would that be what ends the romance for the "greater good"?

Also, I completely forgot about it, but after The review with the greater good thing was released and speculation on Cass started, I did theorized she might become the New divine.
That's if it's really true ![]()

Well, you could still be Aliatair's Mistress or even marry him.
I wonder if Cass will be open to the Inquisitor being her secret lover...

Well, we're deciding Chantry policy anyway. I mean, after all Andraste had a mortal husband. And since the Divine is supposed to be like Andraste, it is only fair Cassandra gets the same rights. Granted not marriage, but at least lover.
But knowing Gaider, this almost for sure ends it completely.
I honestly don't care either wayThat's if it's really true
Possibly, but Alistair had the option of been hardened (and if you don't take it I don't think he accepts a mistress).Well, you could still be Aliatair's Mistress or even marry him.

Correct. He only takes a mistress if hardened.

Perhaps Cassandra can be Hardened as well as the game goes on. Her views are evolving after all.
Pity that a female inquisitor can't be the new divine.
Yeah, you would think that at least the Female Human Non-Mage would be a candidate due to her being the Herald of Anstraste, considering that is pretty much what the Divine is supposed to be.
