Keep killing Time Patrollers, and they'll drop the Dragon's Balls.

So how do you get those items? I take it you need to get them from the Dangerous Duo! Warriors never rest PQ mission but do you have to beat him when he revives or can you get them just by defeating his first stage? Or do you get them from another method entirely? Got a lot of Videl's clothes from that mision but nothing of Broly's.

 

Hey, so after you beat him, collect the 3.  This part is RNG as well, if he revives you have a chance to get his Clothing/Z-Soul when you beat him again.

I'm out of the loop but is this a very strange fighting game or have they gone a path I never expected? After all we're talking about a game with a leveling system, equipment, interchangeable skills and RNG. I never would have imagined to find such things in a fighting game especially all four.

 

I rather like it. In most fighting games once I've beaten someone I lose interest. In this one I feel motivated to beat the living day lights out of the same npc several times and take his shoes. Well boots.

The reason I enjoy it so much is the whole creating a character aspect, plus I've always loved DBZ and it feels like a somewhat RPGness to it.  If only they could fix their horrible services, I would give this game a solid 9.

Yeah exactly, though this game does have a pretty developed combat system, outside of the "spamming" that can be achieved.

That's a fair point. If I just watched the combat I would think fighter but considering the character customization and the like I agree with you.

 

Kind of funny running around picking up items while your allies finish off the last of the enemies. "Would you please not kill him before I can finish looting?"

So.... is the game good? Is it a good RPG or DBZ game? I haven't bothered buying a DBZ game since Raging Blast 1 (Big disappointment) but I love the Budokai and Budokai Tenkaichi series so would I like this game?

Yup! It has a mix of MMO and RPG elements. Nothing like, let's say KOTOR or Dragon Age, but if you want to create your own character and have a plot in the DBZ verse, Id suggest this game

I love how my Saiyan managed to stay Super Saiyan 2 through the entire ending.

I wish they had the Super Buu outfit, or Gotenks Buu's outfit, manly the gloves and boots. If I put Goku's characterless Gi top on her it looks like she has Gohan Buu (Mystic Buu) outfit on.

No Super Buu, or no Majin Buu (period)? I'm only up to the end parts of the Frieza Saga on my run through.

Well you get to fight Majin Buu, Super Buu and Kid Buu but none of the in between variants like Gotenks Buu or Mystic Buu.

Is Super Buu at least available as a playable character at some point? Maybe he has his other forms available as transformations, like in the older Budokai games.

Like I'm fine with the story reason behind it, but it's disappointing because they could atleast put them and the Frieza transformations in Parallel Quests
