Hey guys.

 

I had to change my PSN ID when I move to Australia as Sony would not change the region on my UK account due to their policies.

 

Anyway, I've noticed that my origin account is linked to my old PSN ID and I'm wondering if this is going to affect my DA Keep transfer when I get DA:I later this week. I'm assuming that to import the data I'm going to have to sign into my origin account.

 

I've had a look throughout the Origin FAQs and there isn't an option to change this data so thought I'd try on here so see if anyone has had this issue?

you could link your psn id to this account. I dont know what it would do to your old games though.

You need to contact EA support and explain the situation to them. You should be able to switch your PSN linked accounts or add your PSN ID to your Origin account perhaps.

Do you reckon this means I'll have to set up my two world states?

No. I mean you shouldn't have to make a new Origin account if that's what your thinking

That was a long one, an hour and 20 mins to be precise!

 

The advisor had to delete my PSN ID from my Origin account and said my world states will need to be done again. I ended up having to download Origin so I could link my new ID as they couldn't do it at their end.

 

Oh well, at least it's done – now I just need to do my world states all over again :-(

Oh. My. God.

 

My character names are all gone. I'm now stuck with defaults! Duran, Garrett, Kallian and Marian :-(

 

Suggestions anyone? I really don't want to sit through one of those live chat sessions again. I don't think they even knew what the Dragon Age Keep was.

 

On the upside, all my world state choices still appear to be there though.

Hmm do you have your save from DA Origins? Actually do you have a da2 save tied to your Origin account?

Because the names were there before, I think they were both tied in but now it's a different PSN ID they're gone :-(

This sucks, character names are important.

Surely my choices can't be limited to:
1. Play with my UK ID to keep character names
2. Play on my Aussie account and lose character names

The only other option is to contact Sony support and see what they can do...

I just made my Dragons Keep choices, but noticed that I haven't added my PSN ID. Where do I add it? Been looking everywhere, help would be much appreciated

If you have a PC go to Origin.com and download the Origin client and from there you can add your PSN to your Origin account
