I need some help guys. My Warden never forced Loyd to defend Redcliffe and barely spoke to Bella. To my knowledge Bella should still be working her crappy minimum wage job for Loyd in Inquisition but that's not an option in the Keep.

Which Keep choice sounds the most logical for Bella in my world state? Bella leaves Redcliffe, or Bella takes over the tavern?

I was wondering that myself, because I'm recently playing Origins with a new character. I hope the tavern is still there with Bella.

Bella leaves Redcliffe. It's the only option where the Warden does not interact with her.

Depends what you are looking for. Given that we will most likely be visiting Redcliff we are likely to bump into her if she runs the tavern, but also it would make sense from her perspective to go to the capital and start the brewery if you give her money.

Edit: sorry if I went off topic, I didn't finish reading your post and what you were looking for.

I say chose to have him fight you get an approval from Sten and if she oppens her brewery. i hear IB likes her stuff. but that bit is rumour i admit

Presumably, whatever is the default. In this case, I think it's "Bella leaves Redcliffe". In order for Bella to take over the tavern, you have to force Lloyd to fight and die.

Actually that's not the case. The Warden can give Bella 100 Silver to help her get out of Redcliffe or 500 Silver to start a new life. I'm worried if I choose the leave Redcliffe option she'll tell everyone in Inquisition that my Warden gave her money to leave Redcliffe when he didn't.

I fear discovering the tavern is no longer there. Of course, I can't recognise anything of Redcliffe in the clips I've seen.

On my recent Origins playthrough, I threatened Lloyd and became his partner. You share in the profits with Lloyd, which doesn't net you any gold but lets you take everything in his shop for free. Granted, there isn't much of value that he sells. Later on, I talked with Bella and gave her the tavern (Bella is in charge, says Lloyd in the game). Curiously, even after giving Bella the tavern I could take stuff for "free" from the tavern shop. This could be a bug. Overall, it doesn't affect anything else, but it is funny to hear Lloyd call you "partner" and suck up to you. Then, I turned around and gave Bella the tavern just to screw with Lloyd. I figured making him squirm and work for Bella was better punishment than making him fight the darkspawn and die.

Looks like we'll have to do a lot of cleaning up in Redcliffe, folks! If Bioware has kept some of it intact from Origins, I propose we get a beer at the tavern after a hard days work!

I convinced Lloyd to fight, kept him alive, and the Tavern was still Bella's.

Sadly, Bella is not in Inquisition, she isn't even mentioned.  It's like who cares what happens to her in the Keep? Not Bioware.  Makes me wonder why her fate is even in the Keep.

Bella slipped on some stairs and broke her neck shortly after the events of Origins. The end. Seriously not every minor person in the world is special or significant enough to warrant continuous development and that's not a failing.

I never liked Bella's sidequest. Why would the Warden 1) give a random girl enough money to start her own business; 2) engage in extortion and blatantly steal the tavern from Lloyd, and, again, give it to a random girl? It might make sense if the girl in question was a male Warden's romance interest, I guess, but I played female Wardens, and, really, eww.

Random acts of raw, unalloyed, agendaless kindness are a thing.

Because Lloyd seemed like a creep and a jerk? Also there's the opportunity to use the Murder Knife which I always enjoy.

But yeah I don't understand why this decision was in the keep if it wasn't going to come up in Inquisition. Might come up in dlc I suppose or maybe it was just so we wouldn't know which keep decisions would matter and which ones wouldn't.

If she was minor she wouldn't have been in the keep... but she is... for no reason.

Maybe, I mean I do hope she shows up in a later DLC or something, but if not then really there's no point in her being in the Keep.  I mean, at that point look at other stuff.  Hmm did the Male Dwarf Noble have a child? That's in the Keep.  So then why isn't the Human Noble's sex partner in the Keep? Considering that odds are the person that didn't sleep with you might have lived.  Or not.  But hey, they matter as much as Bella apparently.

There is a lot choices that don't matter in dai and are in keep in fact there is choice that obviously won't matter like obviously prisoner or not.

Well, right. So that's another thing, why does the Prisoner get to go in the keep along with Mardy and her son, yet Darrien and Iona are not? IT's just weird and arbitrary what decisions that don't matter got picked.

Well a lot choices were suggested by testers so they probably added some choices just please them even if they won't matter.
