I suppose DAI will have some "slight" problems launching at my PC:

Pentium Dual Core E5700 3.00 GHZ

4 GB RAM

Nvidia GeForce GT 640 2048 MB

Am i right? :(

Well  yeah lucky that your video card is good and the rams are only useful for faster loading screens but there will be long loading screens in your case because of a 2 mb cache and a weak but decent enough cpu.

I'm afraid so. You will undoubtedly have problems running it even on the lowest settings.

Try this site   Can I Run It  DAI is there.  It will scan your system      I have used it for a few years.

One of the developers said they got it to run on a dual core with not too terrible fps (it was a slightly nicer dual core than yours though) ,but that Bioware may not directly support it. Each single core of your cpu should outperform  each single core of older, cheaper quad cores but your low cache and the fact that you only have 2 threads will reduce your overall performance. You'll just have to wait and see. System requirements labs results aren't cast in stone and game requirements these days aren't often accurate with regards to cpu,ram and even gpu. It depends on the engine and how well it scales and what options can be enabled/disabled. Start out by setting the settings to the absolute minimum and go up from there incrementally if it runs okay. You will experience some bottleneck especially if there are a large amount of things in an area, but again I haven't played the game yet so I can't comment on the engine. You should also wait for optimised nvidia drivers (will probably release on monday) to help you out with fps.Its not a definite no. I doubt the game is hard coded into rejecting startup on less than 4 cores though. Try it and see. You won't ever probably get more than 60 fps (again I haven't played the game take it with a pinch of salt) but you might even get 30+ on low depending on how the settings are or maybe 20+ consistently. You may also have to reduce your resolution, but that probably won't result in more than a couple of frames in gains. Please don't try to play this in more than 1366x768 res (and even there you may have to reduce res)

Just remember : No matter the system requirements a lot rests on how well the engine scales and how much effort developers put into the lower limits of the scale as well as what you can turn off completely even on low. Bioware do seem to have put in a lot more effort than other companies and they have coded for pc before (many times before). There are also from what I've seen a lot of different setting you can tweak in the options menu

I think you can play DA:I :). But there's no way for you to tell how well until launch :( .

So what do you think now when the game is available, guys? Is DA:I well optimized? Or do I need to buy new PC? :)
?
