I don't know, Reaver and the dragon claw looks pretty cool.
Warrior looks boring, or is it just me?

Hey, in ME soldier is arguably the most limited/passive class, and apparently the most popular. So some people love what you consider boring. As long as they keep making more complex classes, it's all good. Room for everyone.

from what I've seen this game has the most interesting warrior classes without making them feel over the top.
Warrior is exactly this, a sturdy guy who can take a beating and swing a big mean weapon to crush skulls.
for me the challenge is to make it interesting without turning the class into a circus and from what I've seen so far they've achieved it

Personally I thing Grappling Chain looks like a really fun skill as does Line in the Sand. I personally still prefer my PC to be a rogue but I will enjoy having these skills in my party.

I always thought Warrior looked really boring, and I never understand it. But controlling Cassandra some in the EA Access made it more appealing to me - as a sword and board Warrior, you get to be a true protector this time. It works well. Not sure about 2-handed. I still think Rogues are the best, with Mages second, and Warriors third, but I will likely play all the classes this time, whereas I have never finished a full Warrior playthrough before.

Reavers will likely tempt me into a Warrior playthrough, but that'll be the extent of it, I think. Never been the biggest fan of the archetype in the DA series.

Warrior was the least fun class both in DAO and DA2, so it would be fitting for it to be so in DAI as well.

I was going to play a sword and shield warrior but after i saw some footage with the two handed sword i was hooked, i really hated them in previous games but it seems they are awesome in DAI.

I am a little disappointed by the lack of DW warrior, but have you seen the Templar tree? That's as close as you can get to a Magic/Paladin/Cleric/Knight demon-hunting supersoldier as you can get.

Warrior has always been the best class. From what I've played in Early Access, it continues to be a BAMF. Only more so. The grapple chain with the hard kick that follows is incredibly satisfying.

Whatever happend to the battlemage class that was in origins, that sounded really fun being a mage in heavy armor, or as it was called at the time "massive armor".
You mean the Arcane Warrior from DA:O? If played with a staff it was alright, but, as a sword & shield warrior is was boring is hell. Practically unkillable and extremely slow to attack. Then again, everything became unkillable at higher level.

I flirted with playing mage for a while, but when I saw the Champion specialisation, that was over. Warriors have never looked better in my opinion.

same...initially I was going Knight Enchanter hands down. Now I'm really torn betwen KE and Templar.
Big fan of Priest/Paladin type of characters

I thought Warriors were boring since DAO so this is nothing new to me.

I think Warriors will be slightly more interesting in DA:I than most RPGs once you have a specialization. Though keep in mind in both DA:O and DA2, two handed weapon damage per second was lower than the other combinations. If you had it on the PC you could obviously fix this with mods, but BioWare for some reason made it the weakest weapon type.
Personally, I'm going Mage first. My original play throughs of the series so far was Sword & Shield Warrior in DA:O and Rogue in DA2, so now it is time for the Mage.
I am looking forward to playing the Warrior though, hopefully DA:I is more like DA:O than DA2, where I want to jump straight into a second play through rather than have to build up the desire for it.

I always play as a warrior, its my favorite class in any game. To me, mages are pretty much just a nerds power fantasy(get powerful by studying etc). I think the warrior class looks awesome in inquisition.
And anyone that says warriors have to look boring has never seen kingdom come deliverance.

Warrior has been my least favorite class in prior DA games, I doubt that will change here either. Especially if the crafting system is constantly putting warriors in massively oversized armor and weapons. That's usually my sticking point. My warrior playthroughs are sometimes grin-and-bear it play throughs, especially if we can allocate our own attributes. Might be stuck in an over-armored play style.

Speak for yourself.
My problem with the warrior is that it once again looks underpowered just as it was in DA2. Before the Bioware Defence Force™ from DA2 come defending the warrior as being "balanced" again, I'd like to say that I don't see how it's balanced when it takes 10 hits with a giant maul to kill a regular enemy. Bioware is literally the only RPG developer on the market that I know of where the warrior isn't the damage dealer.
We shouldn't have to spec once again in the reaver tree just to make the warrior into the powerhouse it should be. In Origins, all that required was high strength and a good weapon along with the passive two hander skills and you were good to go, the berserker and reaver trees just further enhanced the warrior's prowess but since DA2, it seems that the reaver tree has become essential for any good warrior build otherwise you'll be playing as a weak class.
Though tbh, the mages and rogues don't look very interesting either but I think Inquisition is one of those games that play better than they look. I've found this to be the case for many Bioware titles, Origins included.

Both DAO and DA2 had S/S warriors as the superior damage dealer to the 2H warrior on similar builds.

In DAO I don't think that SnS did more damage than 2handed.
In DA2 the dps was lower but this was compensated somewhat by the area of reach 2handed weapons had

Well I am very happy you guys are not agreeing with me. It gives me hope my first impression was wrong about warriors.
Now I just gotta figure out if I am gonna play mouse and keyboard or use my Xbox 1 controller on my PC.
So sad...no mods... Just gonna play Skyrim with tons of combat mods in the meantime.

Reaver looks like the most high-octane spec in the game. Literally on the edge.

Jump, hit, whirwind, hit, little hit, big hit....Hit,hit,hit..... That's amazing?
As opposed to shoot...? Lolin' hard.
But that's why Assassin is better and Warrior in WoW even better. Blizz; they've been learning. Besides, you don't have to build D2 Barb with whirlwind you know ![]()
DA Inquisition and other games would fail hard if they do not have an enjoyable warrior class. I'm sure the MP version at least will be satisfying
