i hope bioware work in protect the games with others tools more secure and with more stability,i read much people that play lord of faller and have very much problems of blue screen for this drm.

invasive DRM l

  • The sony rootkit has lead to the operating system to fail to recognize disk drives and installed backdoors that have been abused by malware forcing a fresh system install
  • Multiple cases where the game failed to activate after a new system install like the above and their customer service was uncooperative.

I'm not quite sure what you're saying here but Denuvo is not a DRM. I'd also like to direct you to comments by Derek French on the topic.

Also the whole thing about Denuvo impacting performance of Lords of the Fallen is a rumour, there's no evidence at all to support it.

If a magazine told you that a program steals your soul and sells it to the devil would you believe it?

All Denuvo does is prevent people from modifying executable files. And you can't claim it's illegal, since the EULA says that by installing it, you agree that Denuvo can be used. Last I checked, there's no law against signing a contract that says how you're allowed to use things.

So, no, Denuvo does not illegally invade your privacy. Unless you have a really weird definition of "privacy". And "invade". And "your".

Source? Also if this was truly illegal than EA wouldn't have gone near Denuvo.

I am guessing English is not your first language. However from what I have seen about it...yes its not yippy cupcake fun time software, but it isn't the devil either. And Emo kids on websites will call their mother a rootkit if they thought it would get them some attention. It basicly keeps you from messing with the .exe of the program in an effort to stop online hacking like in multiplayer. And please give us a link to these websites, or at least a quote instead of coming on here and pitching a fit.

unless you use an ungodly amount of firewalls and maybe that Tor thing I doubt you are completely protected from snooping. your phone, your wifi, etc.

I even know that there are devices that can scan your credit card from a distance to steal it. thieves are always more clever than guards.

What has this got to do with Denuvo?

As stated in the other thread, Denuvo is an anti-tamper system.  It is self-contained in the executable itself and checks the executable for changes.  It doesn't install anything extra onto your computer or anything like that.

As mentioned earlier in the thread, Derek French already detailed this:

Thread closed.
