Eh - you can play a qunari inquisitor... fairly logical to have a qunari LI. In fact originally he was meant to be gated but that didn't end up happening for whatever reason.
The great thing about optional content - it's optional. And considering that romance is a very small part of the game I see no issue with a LI like IB being part of the game.

You do relaise Iron Bull is Qunari and you can be too, right? However, I watched the romance vid of Iron Bull, and with dwarf, it looks a little bit silly.
Also, if there were less options I'm pretty sure everyone on this forums would lose their minds.

I think the complaint is that they don't want to play a game in which, everyone is hitting on you. Which is funny, because unless you're a complete misanthrope, it's inescapable in real life as well.

Unless you've played the game to say there has been 'heavy flirting and hinting' anything you suppose might happen is pure speculation.
Plus there is the easy out option. Don't click the heart button. If you're foolish enough to keep clicking that heart, well...

the reason he is not gated is that one of the devs was like "he shouldn't be gated" and then spent a butt load of extra-man hours on his free time to get it right so that other races could romance the iron bull, for which I appreciate

Generally by the time the option comes up for you to flirt you're already knees deep in awkward land of heavy sexual innuendos and suggestions....at least this is how previous BioWare titles worked and I am not expecting this to be different.

If you are against romances in general then avoid them its basically just a long side activity but there are plenty

Love don't take me wrong but I think me and everyone else in here is already sick of threads as these...People complain about Sera and Dorian being gay,then they complain about Cullen Cassandra and Blackwall being straight and then they complain that IB can be romanced... or they constantly complain about how you can't romance Leliana,Morrigan,Vivienne,Varric and some people even wants to romance Cole 
(well whatever floats someone's boat I guess)...in another words this all is just beating "dead horse" for who knows what time...give it a rest already Jesus.
Besides as Chewy said no one is forcing you to romance anyone...romances are totally optional so if you wish none then do none...simple and END!

Oh those poor, delicate darlings. Truly, being hit on in a video game is a disaster of epic proportions! Bull should come with a content warning for all of those poor souls who can't take being flirted with by someone they aren't interested in.

That's actually good. I can get some comfort in a bunch of pixels showing interested in me and not getting rejected, be miserable with low self-esteem like in real life.

what the hell do you have against Iron Bull? he's probably one of the funniest companions and I will definitely romance him with my Qunari in one of my playthroughs
You can play a qunari, having a qunari LI makes sense. What kind of romance do you expect with a mercenary?
