I think when it comes down to it, you can compare it to a group of however many romance options there are (6, 8, whatever). Now in that group each one has a preference. One male elf only likes female elves. That seems pretty normal. There's a female elf that likes women. That's pretty normal too. There's a big guy that is bisexual. Believe it or not, it exists. I'm not trying to be a wise guy. My point is, if you look at it from a normal perspective, it's pretty realistic.
If you grab a group of 10 people that you don't know from around the world and find what their interests are, you'll most likely find they differ quite a bit. I'm not saying what you prefer is wrong, but overall, their view on LI options isn't bad. If you were single and got around a decent number of people to know a small group, would it be abnormal to find that only a couple were interested in you? Or would it be weird that every single female wasn't interested in you? I don't know many guys that have a flock of women or men pursuing them. Maybe I'm wrong.
