Are people really surprised about Cole not being a romance option considering...?

Thus, "unsurprisingly." Though he does have his fans.

People that wanted to have sex with Flemeth in DAO! Now these are crazies!

Hay, what's wrong with wanting to bang Flemeth? Since Bioware wouldn't let me bang Divine Justinia, I want Flemeth instead

Why? - Simple...in a way it is unfair, that the straight males get the short end of the stick (note: There's nothing wrong with Cassy and Josephine, but having less options than other players (not that I will not play as a female for a few runs...still) is bad IMHO - note: I know that the "everyone is bi-sexual (or player-sexual as some called it)" is not really logical and very unrealistic...but: you didn't have to use it (you could imagine that Fenris, Anders etc. are straight for example - if you wished to) and it was fair

Also there's things like personal preferences you have to take into account - some just don't like the options available to them...it's a board to voice ones opinions, so stop the god-damned bashing and posting of stupid pictures -.- (flaming is not cool!)

greetings LAX

ps: I know that they can't take everybodies opinion into account or make a "one game fits all" kind of game (so no one complains), but sometimes I would like it if it actually looked like they did listen to us (people complained - loudly at that - about quite many things in DA:I...from romances to 8-slot limitation for skills/spells to the removing of the healing and while they defended their choices, they never voiced the why or even took back a single thing (note: I don't want them to bend over backwards, but is it bending over, if you undo something many of your fans hate? - After all there's fan-service already (Cullen - enough said), so why don't take one more step towards us and throw out those artificial content stretchers (spell limit and no healing - one makes fights longer, if you don't have the proper spells with you and the other makes you backtrack - which was un-needed with healing!) and give us more (and more diverse) options in what really sets Bioware games apart from others: Romances (along with good characters of course)?

Oh my god no the horror. You've found one game out of the millions out there where straight men don't have more options than straight women, or gay/lesbian/bi people.

As a straight dude myself, I think it's about damn time that people of other genders and sexual orientations had their turn to actually have multiple choices.

The fact that this is such a big concern for you ought to give you empathy for those people who go severely underrepresented in video games in the future.

The Iron Bull BioWare? Really? I know everyone jokes about BioWare making dating sims and how we can romance anything that walks but this is a whole new level of silliness. Were you guys high or something when you decided to design those romances? Did anyone check those cookies you got from fans for suspicious substances? This has got to be an entirely new level of trolling from the developers.

Oh and if you play as a female elf pretty much everyone wants to screw.

Males have two straight romance options(Cassandra and Josephine) and two gay(Iron Bull and Dorian)

Females have up to four straight romance options: Solas(elves only), Cullen(elf/human), Blackwall and Iron Bull as well as two lesbian options: Sera and Josephine.

Talk about screwing everything that walks!!

Um, if you don't like them then don't do them?  It's not like they are optional or anything.  Also, I sincerely do not understand how some people cannot grasp that not everyone wants to romance (yet another) elf chick or blonde knight.  (And if even if you *do* want to romance those things - they are still in the game).

Hey,  if you really have a problem with LGBT's in your group,  do what I will do in one of my play throughs...   kill them all off.   Bioware gives you that amazing flexibility.

Some people here draw direct correlations between the Chantry and religions in real life and thus they side with mages.  However illogical I think that is...   it's their choice in a make believe world.

Do I think that having more LGBT options in romance supports equality?  No.  Especially because Bioware refuses to make a character who dislikes anyone in the party who is LGBT.  Its a one sided argument and IMO shows their weakness in story telling.  But alas,  like I said,  this game still offers you a lot of choice.

Either way,  I plan on playing through all major story lines and plots from both sides of every situation.  Longer game lifespan and enjoyment.
