theres an elf support group, that was made private cause of all the haters of elves, the elf support thread was either closed by the maker of the thread or the bioware moderators locked the thread up. i'm going elf in inquisition

Now that people are posting images and videos from the first hours of gameplay, I want to ask something Elf-related but not spoilerish: is there any way to check how many vallaslin tattoos are available in the character creator? I like tattoos for my PCs, but in the case of the Dalish it becomes a very important issue to decide their looks.

 

Also, maybe it will be time to update previous theories about which tattoo represents which god.

That was closed just because the entire thing devolved into a place to spew vitriol about those who don't share their view.

Truth be told I am now entirely in favor of helping the Elves of Thedas get their place in the sun.

 

I'm still very much against the mages but never again shall I say a hateful thing about the elves.

I wish we had the actual meaning of those tattoos. But the marketing team hijacked the chart Matt Rhodes was designing for them. So we're left with speculations...Sigh...

Well, that is a sucky set of choices. Meaning it is just like the other main quests.

Couldn't care less about Orlais tbh, as long as Elves are treated better.

 

I think a storyline involving the emancipation of the Dales would deliver that. Or a storyline that was actually elven-centric, and not a minor story element tacked on to a mainly human storyline. Choosing between two horrible options (or three, with the new revelation) doesn't really come across as making any genuine difference in the long run.

There are some choices I could spoil to you that upon learning of them you may like Orlais alot more after they have been made
