Weren't you ranting for months about the chance to support the elf lady?
I would think Lob would be happy. He gets to help the elves of Orlais, even if it might be using different means than he had hoped for.

I kind of figured something like that was going to happen.
Well, that is a sucky set of choices. Meaning it is just like the other main quests.
Quite true. I guess I was hoping that a third option would actually involve some divergence from the other two options.

Those are flat-ears, not true elves.
How is that a sucky choice?
Spoiler
There are some choices I could spoil to you that upon learning of them you may like Orlais alot more after they have been made
Oh this better not be another ****ing
I'm unaware of what you are talking about obviously though.
Those are flat-ears, not true elves.
Is their suffering not enough reason to look for ways to help them?
Must they also follow the old elven gods for them to count? That seem to be a tragically limited view on what it is to be an elf.
Will be making an elf Mage for 2nd Playtrough......................and she will be a Dark Elf ! WOOHOO !
Spoiler
Feel free to screw them over because of the past then.
I kind of figured something like that was going to happen.

Hieronymus Lex: After all these years, he has finally won.

Obviously. Otherwise they're just short humans with pointy ears. Their culture matters more than anything.

Language and culture is basically the only difference. The former is pretty much lost with only fragments surviving, the latter needs to be grasped even harder.

That's actually really xenophobic and prejudice. Good job.
Elf it is ![]()
Personally if the choice presents it self when i actually do roll elf; i'd have the PC express interest in surprise surprise the frigging future, not a past a thousand years gone.
The majority of the elves seem to grasp this reality, the Dalish cling to the delusion that things will change.
Honestly from what i am learning from the hacked transcripts i still don't see a major overhaul happening to the elves in something akin to a renaissance that some hope for.

So what? You advocate assimilation?
I plan on playing my elf as someone who wants to move on...maybe even convert.
Oh this better not be another ****ing

Nah its not that, but I'm almost certain its not something you'd like

Nah its about Mages and the future of the chantry

Then can you please PM it to me? Because I hate Orlais with passion so if anything can change that I'd like to hear it. I'm already deep in spoilers so it doesn't really matter for me.

Its already occurred; for centuries.
Gods, Language and culture are now basically the same between elves and humans.
After the fall of the Dales; the way to progress opened.
