We all know that there is going to be a Mass Effect movie. So what are your thoughts on a movie done by the master Peter Jackson now that the hobbit movies are done. And how they will be done.

All 3 games done

Each game done in 3 movies

What story line for each game

We do? The Mass Effect movie might not even make it past production. We don't know anything yet, let alone do I want any of it to happen.

I say they do a movie on the first or second blight.  Make their own story.  Leave the video game story to us gamers.

Not sure I like the idea of SHepard or The Warden being shown in a movie.  My Shepard and Warden were both females...to many variables to make it a movie.

Could be fun to have a tv series based on the world of Thedas, but a movie version of the stories of the game... no.

In my opinion, a movie of either Mass Effect or Dragon Age should be either something from the saga's past, i.e. The First Contact War or the First Blight or something brand new but involving the lore of the games.  Shepard, The Warden & Hawke were made for interactivity, they were meant to be shaped by the player, you can't do that in a movie.

In conclusion, I'd love to see a Mass Effect or Dragon Age movie, but I don't need a rehash of the game's plot.  Besides none of the games had a particularly compelling story anyway, mostly they were recruitment missions; I don't see those translating that well into film.

Peter Jackson used to be a good director but now he's the new George Lucas, with his over-reliance on CGI and pointless action scenes.

No real life action movies! Only animation (Look at the two Trailer for sample of quality) with the same voice actors! Also I would want David Gaider to be the lead writer, of course. Strictly Bioware based! No outside production who isn't familiar with the formula!

As I say for the possibility of a Mass Effect movie - give me a movie set in the universe, I'm all for it. But DON'T tread over the same ground as the games.

There'd be a great movie in like the foundation of the Grey Wardens, or exploration of the Tevinter-qunari conflict. But stay away from the events from the games, because really. There's no way to do justice to everyone's way of playing, and costs and time management would probably cut down on the parties anyway. What's the fun of seeing these characters brought to life if they're going to be hacked out of having any screentime anyway?
