Well it doesn't look bad, doesn't seem to have too shiny hair.

Looks pretty good for a PS3 game, but terrible in comparison to the PS4/XBONE/PC version.

Every time Leliana says "A Woman?" I laugh so hard.

What the..why are the UI elements so out of position? The portraits, the minimap etc. should be way closer to the edges of the screen.

There's probably a setting where you can expand them out or close them in.

The guy in the video didn't do that though, the UI elements were there by default.

Looks like Bioware screwed up the PS3 version, sigh.

Does that mean the UI is going to look completely out of whack? Anyway, I'll be watching in a few minutes. Hopefully it looks better than the 360 version.

Those textures...

Framerate isn't holding up particularly well either. But hopefully those that opt to play this version are able to enjoy it.

Much better than the 360 version. Blood looks better though still a little blocky, textures look better, no visible slowdown to me (despite other people apparently seeing it, sure you're not just seeing Youtube lag?). Only problem is that textures take a... While... To load. That's like ME1 levels of textures-taking-forever.

Pop-in still bad though.

User interface definitely needs to be further out. Was that for SDTV users?

Framerate seems to be worse than on 360.

Again, I didn't notice. I will point out that Youtube caps frames per second at 30, regardless.

You can actually view the video in 60 frames. If you're on chrome that is.

Don't like Chrome. So at 60 FPS, what framerate does it look like to you?

To me the game seems to be sluggish a bit but it's hardly noticeable. So maybe around 27-30 probably.

27-30 sounds just fine with me. Some of my favorite and most atmospheric games have been at that framerate. The complaints in here made me worry that they were seeing Assassins Creed Unity framerate-levels of 15-20 or something horrible like that.

Apparently if you play AC unity offline the framerate will drastically improve. Even Ubisoft suggests people to play it offline.

See, I wouldn't have gotten the complaints then. I always play offline, 24/7. I only connect to the internet when there's a patch I want or a DLC I want, that's it. So I would have picked it up, had fun, and not understood what everyone's problem was.

How so? I explained how I thought it did, blood looks less blocky, textures looked higher res once they finally bothered to load (probably ties in with the blood looking less blocky too), hair looked less shiny than in the 360 version, lips aren't as shiny either (360 version had everyone looking like they had lip gloss on).
