We have seen pictures of the several weapons for this set. Warriors get a nice flaming sword, rogues have a chance to pick a flaming bow or daggers and mages get a flaming staff.

Atleast I have not seen different armorsets for different classes. I wonder if we just get one set that fits with all classes? Or do we just get a set that fits for warrior but other classes get nothing?

I don't think I've heard any devs address this, but in my head, I believe the armor set will look different for each class.  I think what we have seen thus far was the warrior's flames of the inquisition armor set, but that mages and rogues also get an armor set but it looks more mage-like or rogue-like.  That's what I'm hoping for anyway.  I hate the inquisition helmet, but the armor looks pretty sweet, especially if you use Onyx to craft the whole set so that it's all black.

Yeah I would assume every class would get its own set(what would be the point of making a bonus set of gear that costs real money if only one class could use it?). But I think in DA 2 there was a similar set(Dragon Age armor or something like that) which could be worn only by warriors. I haven't played the game in 2 years so I'm not perfectly certain but I think it was like that. That was the reason I started to wonder this as the gear set(armors and weapons) was the main reason I switched my preorder from basic version to Deluxe.

I see.  Well, I hope we are right that each class gets its own version of the armor set, and not just a weapon.  Personally, I'm slightly upset that mages can't wear all armor sets.  Robes and such might offer certain perks for mage classes while heavy armor won't offer those same perks, which can be how the game makes it so mages in heavy armor aren't OP.  But it seems like from the people who have played the game so far that most heavy armor is locked off to only warriors.  Devs have said mages can wear heavy armor but that it has to be heavy armor "for mages."  I'm not sure what that means or if we have seen any examples of it, but when you look at artwork of Tevinter mages or Vinatori mages they're both wearing armor, not just a robe.... Not sure I can even call what mages wear in Inquisition robes as they look more like trench coats.  Not a fan, personally, though I know many people are.

Judging by the images they released, the armour looks the same for all three classes.

Spoiler

(a mage can wear the helmet too, but of course a qunari can not)

I'm pretty sure it's about crafting. I think I read or heard somewhere that any armor in the game can be crafted(any outlook of armor) and when crafting one can decide what stats the piece will have with the runes, materials and stuff. So that's probably the way which makes it possible for mages to wear "heavy armor" even though the stats aren't the same as the same looking armor a warrior wears.

Although that's not the point of the topic but the thing if all classes get the Flames of the Inquisition armor to wear. Be it only one set available to every class or individually designed sets for every class.

I believe that is correct, yes.  I think they said that the same schematic can create armour that looks the same (ish) but if you use different materials it can be made "lighter" or "heavier" as desired.

Up to a point, I'd have thought - you probably can't make mage robes as tough as plate armour when they are made of cloth, and you might not be able to add metal to it to make it "heavy".  You'd have to work from a "heavy armour" schematic instead.

Sweet.  Yes this is what I was talking about.  Now the question becomes, if you can use different materials to build this same armor type, will it change the color (I believe the answer is yes from what I hear from devs) and can I make it all black :D

I suspect you can make some of it black but not all of it... some parts might have to be a dark colour instead.

Looks like the flame of the inquisition helmet shows up in the loot after defeating a dragon.
