A five-day old account with seven posts, one of which actually refers to trolling the forums, bringing up one of the more beat-a-dead-horse topics?
I think we've got ourselves a troll.

They want dragon age to be that series that has a new hero every time unlike Mass effect. So more likely they will have a new protagonist. I prefer it that way since it's one of the things that makes dragon age unique and prevent the writing problems of using an on going protagonist. (like with shepard)
Besides, I'm not a fan of why my character suddenly loses all her/his abilities and fighting skills at the beginning of each game.

I sure hope it will, I personally like DA's Approach way better than what they did with Shepard in the ME series.
This. Allows for fresh new protagonists and doesn't render each game to a series of cameos. Plus I hate playing the same character.

I actually prefer the ME way because there is more continuity in companion evolution. Furthermore, they did give you a head start if you imported a character from the previous game, it never bothered me very mutch to lose the skilltree

I like having a new protagonist each time. It makes Dragon Age feel even more special to me because of that. With a new character each time, you can explore more of the world and meet many new companions and NPCs. With the same protagonist, you'd have to expect to meet your same companions over and over again, like in ME. Dragon Age is different. I think having a new protagonist each game works really well for the world of DA.

I actually prefer the DA way of having a new protagonist in every game. It's a fresh start every time, a chance to explore a new part of the universe/setting. Also, it feels kind of weird that the same person would save the world like six times.

I think the maths behind playing the same hero would be impossible (the Keep must be a nightmare as it is), and I do like a new house to play in; new party, gaps in history, new world to wake up in. I didn't mind having the mass effect trilogy, but it somehow suited a sci-fi game (space ship certainly) more, and there weren't the massively complex trees of previous choices and all that. It's quite good, too, to have 2 different game worlds, each with a slightly different way of doing stuff.
WHat's going to be fun is playing another time with a different keep....I'll make that as different as I can stomach. There's something very sophisticated in the way this has been done.

It's sort of an accepted thing in gaming that the hero's abilities get reset but bioware doesn't seem to be that company. They made an effort to make sure the hero keeps their abilities (like DA:O's DLC or ME3's level increasing) or story reason why the abilities disappeared (ME2) even if convoluted.
If my mage warden was the protagonist of DA2 I would have expected her swirling nebulae of sustains and four specializations to still be there.

I prefer the different protagonist each game approach; it makes the whole world few more alive and large, and the PC less omnipotent if they're just one of many heroes overtime.

Yes DA:4 will have a new protagonist so will the game after that. It is a major part of DA's game model.
