When and Where would be useful?
Can anyone help me with this? Maybe you have to wait until Skyhold? But I have no idea.
Cheers!

I would suspect the Flames of the Inquisition gear will be available at Skyhold when you first reach the place and the game gives you "tutorial" around the place. It would be the most reasonable solution as the main character becomes part of the inquisition there.
In DA 2 the Blood Dragon Armor becomes available pretty straight after finishing the prologue and getting into Kirkwall so I assume the same solution is used with Inquisition aswell.

I don't know... By accounts, people are 6 hours into the game, and haven't gotten to Skyhold, yet... That seems a tad too long to keep people away from "bonus" weapons/armor/stuffs... I think we'll have access to the DLC gear and other bonus content right after the prologue. Before we leave Haven, really...
Though, I'm sure you could wait to accept it until you get to Skyhold, if you wanted(like how you can choose not to take things until Act 2 or 3 in DA2),

Oh sorry. I assumed we would get into Skyhold "pretty instantly" after the Haven but if that's not the case(I have not looked the leaked videos of the start of the game because I don't want spoilers) then it would be better if we got the bonus gear straight after we actually start playing.
I would not be too surprised if we actually get the gear at Skyhold though...
You get the flaming weapon that matches your class choice at the start of your game, and then get the schematics for the others later. For example, a 2h warrior gets the greatsword, a mage gets the staff, and an archer rogue would get the bow.
I thought you got to choose what types of weapons you start with, I've seen in the character creator you can choose between a shield warrior or a 2h warrior.

What?
Do we really need to craft that armor instead of just getting it? ![]()

Well, I'm certain it could Auto-assign it based on your current class (I.E. Archer Rogue, 2h-Warrior), but if it gives you the schematics, you can use different materials to assign it different stats to fit your liking. And if you like the armor, you can craft new ones every so often to keep it at your level. So you're not walking around in old armor, because it looks cool.
Maker knows I've done that in DA:O, DA:A, *and* DA2

Yeah but as we pay real money for the whole set(Deluxe edition is 10 euros/dollars/etc more expensive than basic one) we should just get the set. You are absolutely right about the schematics though, we should also get those so we can craft the set aswell for our companions and possibly make "higher level versions" of it with different runes etc when we reach higher levels.
What ABSOLUTELY NOT should happen is that we get a schematic for it that says "hey go and run around this and that area to get this and that material so you can craft this armorset you already paid 10 extra euros/dollars for".

You get one, per playthrough, for free and then the schematics for all the others so that you can craft them at your leisure later on in your game.

I started to think this is probably the case. A "free set" at the start of the game and schematics to craft more if one wants. Well there's sure something worth my money ![]()
Maybe they are unlock ? or in your inventory ?
You get the weapons right at the prologue when your character first picks up a weapon for the first time.. instead of the default weapon it will your class's flames weapon, you will also get the schematics for all of the weapons when you learn crafting.. i dont know how you would get the mounts ect though or the armor (i would assume armor is also from crafting)

I ask because I got to the Hinterlands in the trial and still no access to DLC toys...
That's most likely because you don't have to have pre-order the game to get access to the trial the game never bothers to check as to whether your entitled to the pre-order content and may not have even downloaded them.
That's what I mean. If you're a sword and shield warrior, you get the shield and sword. If you're a 2h, you get the greatsword.
No clue about the armor, though.
You get the weapon that suits your initial class choice, like you say, and also the armour. Since not getting the armour with it would be stupid.
From what I've seen on a Twitch stream you get the weapon at the start of the prologue instead of the basic weapon. You will also get all schematics for the weapons so you can make higher level and stronger versions by using other crafting materials. Not sure on the Armor, the mount I would guess when you unlock mounts in the Hinterlands or at Skyhold.
The weapons do not replace the starting weapon. They are given in addition.

I'm more interested in armor. We'll get it at the same beginning, after a prologue or until we will have our skyhold?
Interested in the armor as well.
